Judges 12:1-5
And the menH376 of EphraimH669 were gathered together, and passedH5674 northward; and they saidH559 unto JephthahH3316, Wherefore passedst thou over to fightH3898 against the children of AmmonH5983, and didst not callH7121 us to go with thee? we will burnH8313 thy houseH1004 upon thee with fireH784.
And JephthahH3316 saidH559 unto them, I and my peopleH5971 wereH1961 at great strifeH7379 with the children of AmmonH5983; and when I calledH2199 you, ye savedH3467 me not out of their handH3027.
And when I sawH7200 that ye savedH3467 me not, I putH5414 my lifeH5315 in my handH3027, and passedH5674 over against the children of AmmonH5983, and Jehovah delivered them into my handH3027: wherefore then are ye comeH5927 up unto me this dayH3117, to fightH3898 against me?
Then JephthahH3316 gatheredH6908 togetherH6908 all the menH376 of GileadH1568, and foughtH3898 with EphraimH669; and the menH376 of GileadH1568 smote EphraimH669, because they saidH559, Ye are fugitivesH6412 of EphraimH669, ye Gileadites, in the midstH8432 of EphraimH669, and in the midstH8432 of ManassehH4519.
And the Gileadites tookH3920 the fords of the JordanH3383 against the Ephraimites. And it wasH1961 so, that, when any of the fugitivesH6412 of EphraimH669 saidH559, Let me go over, the menH376 of GileadH1568 saidH559 unto him, Art thou an Ephraimite? If he saidH559, Nay;
