2 The kings מַלְכֵי־ mal.khei- H4428 of the earth אֶ֗רֶץ 'E.retz H776 set themselves , And the rulers וְרוֹזְנִ֥ים ve.roz.Nim H7336 take יִ֥תְיַצְּב֨וּ׀ yit.ya.tze.Vu H3320 counsel together יָ֑חַד Ya.chad H3162 , Against Jehovah , and against his anointed מְשִׁיחֽוֹ׃ me.shi.Cho H4899 , saying, 4 He that sitteth in the heavens בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם ba.sha.Ma.yim H8064 will laugh יִשְׂחָ֑ק yis.Chak H7832 : The Lord אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י 'a.do.Nai H136 will have them in derision. 5 Then אָ֤ז 'az H227 will he speak יְדַבֵּ֣ר ye.da.Ber H1696 unto them in his wrath , And vex them in his sore displeasure: 7 I will tell of the decree חֹ֥ק chok H2706 : Jehovah said H559 unto me , Thou art my son בְּנִ֥י be.Ni H1121 ; This day הַיּ֥וֹם hai.Yom H3117 have I begotten thee. 8 Ask שְׁאַ֤ל she.'Al H7592 of me , and I will give H5414 thee the nations ג֭וֹיִם Go.yim H1471 for thine inheritance נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ na.cha.la.Te.kha H5159 , And the uttermost parts of the earth אָֽרֶץ׃ 'A.retz H776 for thy possession וַ֝אֲחֻזָּתְךָ֗ va.'a.chu.za.te.kha H272 . 9 Thou shalt break them with a rod בְּשֵׁ֣בֶט be.She.vet H7626 of iron בַּרְזֶ֑ל bar.Zel H1270 ; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s יוֹצֵ֣ר yo.Tzer H3335 vessel כִּכְלִ֖י kikh.Li H3627 . 11 Serve עִבְד֣וּ 'iv.Du H5647 Jehovah with fear בְּיִרְאָ֑ה be.yir.'Ah H3374 , And rejoice וְ֝גִ֗ילוּ ve.Gi.lu H1523 with trembling . 12 Kiss the son , lest פֶּן־ pen- H6435 he be angry יֶאֱנַ֤ף׀ ye.'e.Naf H599 , and ye perish וְתֹ֬אבְדוּ ve.Toe.du H6 in the way דֶ֗רֶךְ De.rekh H1870 , For his wrath will soon be kindled.
