2And it shall be, if the wickedmanהָרָשָׁ֑עha.ra.Sha'H7563beworthyבִּ֥ןbinH1121to bebeatenהַכּ֖וֹתha.KotH5221, that thejudgeהַשֹּׁפֵט֙ha.sho.FetH8199shall cause him to liedownוְהִפִּיל֤וֹve.hi.pi.LoH5307, and to bebeatenוְהִכָּ֣הוּve.hi.Ka.huH5221before hisfaceלְפָנָ֔יוle.fa.NavH6440,accordingכְּדֵ֥יke.DeiH1767to hisfaultרִשְׁעָת֖וֹrish.'a.ToH7564, by a certainnumberבְּמִסְפָּֽר׃be.mis.ParH4557.

3Fortyאַרְבָּעִ֥ים'ar.ba.'ImH705stripesיַכֶּ֖נּוּya.Ke.nuH5221he may give him, and notexceedיֹסִ֑יףyo.SifH3254: lest, if he shouldexceedיֹסִ֨יףyo.SifH3254, andbeatלְהַכֹּת֤וֹle.ha.ko.ToH5221him above these withmanyרַבָּ֔הra.BahH7227stripesמַכָּ֣הma.KahH4347, then thybrotherאָחִ֖יךָ'a.Chi.khaH251should seemvileוְנִקְלָ֥ה לְעֵינֶֽיךָ׃ סve.nik.Lah le.'ei.Nei.khaH7034 H5869to thee.
