2Then thyeldersזְקֵנֶ֖יךָze.ke.Nei.chaH2205and thyjudgesוְשֹׁפְטֶ֑יךָve.sho.fe.Tei.khaH8199shall comeforthוְיָצְא֥וּve.ya.tze.'UH3318, and they shallmeasureוּמָדְדוּ֙u.ma.de.DuH4058to thecitiesהֶ֣עָרִ֔יםhe.'a.RimH5892which arearoundסְבִיבֹ֥תse.vi.VotH5439him that isslainהֶחָלָֽל׃he.cha.LalH2491:

4And theeldersזִקְנֵי֩zik.NeiH2205of thatcityהָעִ֨ירha.'IrH5892shall bringdownוְהוֹרִ֡דוּve.ho.Ri.duH3381theheiferהָֽעֶגְלָה֙ha.'eg.LahH5697to aroughאֵיתָ֔ן'ei.TanH386valleyנַ֣חַלNa.chalH5158, which is neithertilledיֵעָבֵ֥דye.'a.VedH5647norsownיִזָּרֵ֑עַyi.za.Re.a'H2232, and shall strikeoffH6202theheifer’sהָעֶגְלָ֖הha.'eg.LahH5697neckוְעָֽרְפוּ־ve.'a.re.fu-H6202there in thevalleyבַּנָּֽחַל׃ba.Na.chalH5158:

6And all theeldersזִקְנֵי֙zik.NeiH2205of thatcityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892, that arenextהַקְּרֹבִ֖יםha.ke.ro.VimH7138to theslainהֶחָלָ֑לhe.cha.LalH2491man, shallwashיִרְחֲצוּ֙yir.cha.TzuH7364theirhandsיְדֵיהֶ֔םye.dei.HemH3027over theheiferהָעֶגְלָ֖הha.'eg.LahH5697that isbeheadedהָעֲרוּפָ֥הha.'a.ru.FahH6202in thevalleyבַנָּֽחַל׃va.Na.chalH5158:

8Bemercifulכַּפֵּר֩ka.PerH3722, OLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, to thypeopleלְעַמְּךָ֨le.'a.me.KhaH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֤לYis.ra.'ElH3478, whom thou hastredeemedפָּדִ֙יתָ֙pa.Di.taH6299, andlayתִּתֵּן֙ti.TenH5414notinnocentנָקִ֔יna.KiH5355bloodדָּ֣םdamH1818to thechargeבְּקֶ֖רֶבbe.Ke.revH7130of thypeopleעַמְּךָ֣'a.me.KhaH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478. And thebloodהַדָּֽם׃ha.DamH1818shall beforgivenוְנִכַּפֵּ֥רve.nik.ka.PerH3722them.

9So shalt thouremoveתְּבַעֵ֛רte.va.'ErH1197the guilt ofinnocentהַנָּקִ֖יha.na.KiH5355bloodהַדָּ֥םha.DamH1818fromamongמִקִּרְבֶּ֑ךָmi.kir.Be.chaH7130you, when thou shaltdoתַעֲשֶׂ֥הta.'a.SehH6213that which isrightהַיָּשָׁ֖רhai.ya.SharH3477in thesightבְּעֵינֵ֥יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of theLORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

10When thou goestforthתֵצֵ֥אte.Tze'H3318towarלַמִּלְחָמָ֖הla.mil.cha.MahH4421against thyenemiesאֹיְבֶ֑יךָ'o.ye.Vei.khaH341, and theLORDיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068thyGodאֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430hathdeliveredוּנְתָנ֞וֹu.ne.ta.NoH5414them into thyhandsבְּיָדֶ֖ךָbe.ya.De.khaH3027, and thou hasttakenוְשָׁבִ֥יתָve.sha.Vi.taH7617themcaptiveשִׁבְיֽוֹ׃shiv.YoH7628,

11And thouseestוְרָאִיתָ֙ve.ra.'i.TaH7200among thecaptivesבַּשִּׁבְיָ֔הba.shiv.YahH7633abeautifulיְפַת־ תֹּ֑אַרye.fat- To.'arH8389 H3303womanאֵ֖שֶׁת'E.shetH802, and hast adesireוְחָשַׁקְתָּ֣ve.cha.shak.TaH2836to her, that thou wouldest haveherוְלָקַחְתָּ֥ve.la.kach.TaH3947for thywifeלְאִשָּֽׁה׃le.'i.ShahH802;

12Then thou shaltbringוַהֲבֵאתָ֖הּva.ha.ve.TahH935herhomeתּ֣וֹךְTokhH8432to thyhouseבֵּיתֶ֑ךָbei.Te.khaH1004; and she shallshaveוְגִלְּחָה֙ve.gi.le.ChahH1548herheadרֹאשָׁ֔הּro.ShahH7218, andpareוְעָשְׂתָ֖הve.'a.se.TahH6213hernailsצִפָּרְנֶֽיהָ׃tzi.pa.re.Nei.haH6856;

13And she shallputוְהֵסִ֩ירָה֩ve.he.Si.rahH5493off from her theraimentשִׂמְלַ֨תsim.LatH8071of hercaptivityשִׁבְיָ֜הּshiv.YahH7628, and shallremainוְיָֽשְׁבָה֙ve.ya.she.VahH3427in thyhouseבְּבֵיתֶ֔ךָbe.vei.Te.khaH1004, andbewailוּבָֽכְתָ֛הu.va.khe.TahH1058herfatherאָבִ֥יהָ'a.Vi.haH1and hermotherאִמָּ֖הּ'i.MahH517afullיָמִ֑יםya.MimH3117monthיֶ֣רַחYe.rachH3391: andafterוְאַ֨חַרve.'A.charH310that thou shaltgoתָּב֤וֹאta.Vo'H935in to her, and be herhusbandH1166, and she shall be thywifeלְאִשָּֽׁה׃le.'i.ShahH802.

15If amanלְאִ֜ישׁle.'IshH376shall havetwoשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147wivesנָשִׁ֗יםna.ShimH802,oneהָאַחַ֤תha.'a.ChatH259belovedאֲהוּבָה֙'a.hu.VahH157, andanotherוְהָאַחַ֣תve.ha.'a.ChatH259hatedשְׂנוּאָ֔הse.nu.'AhH8130, and they haveborneוְיָֽלְדוּ־ve.yal.du-H3205himchildrenבָנִ֔יםva.NimH1121, both thebelovedהָאֲהוּבָ֖הha.'a.hu.VahH157and thehatedוְהַשְּׂנוּאָ֑הve.ha.se.nu.'AhH8130; and if thefirstbornהַבְּכ֖וֹרha.be.KhorH1060sonהַבֵּ֥ןha.BenH1121be hers that washatedלַשְּׂנִיאָֽה׃la.se.ni.'AhH8146:

18If amanלְאִ֗ישׁle.'IshH376shall have astubbornסוֹרֵ֣רso.RerH5637andrebelliousוּמוֹרֶ֔הu.mo.RehH4784sonבֵּ֚ןbenH1121, who will notobeyשֹׁמֵ֔עַsho.Me.a'H8085thevoiceבְּק֥וֹלbe.KolH6963of hisfatherאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1, or thevoiceוּבְק֣וֹלu.ve.KolH6963of hismotherאִמּ֑וֹ'i.MoH517, and who, when they havechastenedוְיסְּר֣וּve.yi.se.RuH3256him, will nothearkenיִשְׁמַ֖עyish.Ma'H8085to them:

19Then shall hisfatherאָבִ֣יו'a.VivH1and hismotherוְאִמּ֑וֹve.'i.MoH517layholdוְתָ֥פְשׂוּve.Ta.fe.suH8610on him, and bring himoutוְהוֹצִ֧יאוּve.ho.Tzi.'uH3318to theeldersזִקְנֵ֥יzik.NeiH2205of hiscityעִיר֖וֹi.RoH5892, and to thegateשַׁ֥עַרSha.'arH8179of hisplaceמְקֹמֽוֹ׃me.ko.MoH4725;
