3And theangerאַ֥ף'afH639of theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068waskindledוַיִּֽחַר־vai.yi.char-H2734againstIsraelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478, and hedeliveredוַֽיִּתְּנֵ֞םvai.yi.te.NemH5414them into thehandבְּיַ֣ד׀be.YadH3027ofHazaelחֲזָאֵ֣לcha.za.'ElH2371kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428ofSyriaאֲרָ֗ם'a.RamH758, and into thehandוּבְיַ֛דu.ve.YadH3027ofBenhadadH1130thesonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofHazaelחֲזָאֵ֖לcha.za.'ElH2371, all theirdaysהַיָּמִֽים׃hai.ya.MimH3117.

4AndJehoahazיְהוֹאָחָ֖זye.ho.'a.ChazH3059besoughtוַיְחַ֥לvay.ChalH2470theLORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, and theLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068hearkenedוַיִּשְׁמַ֤עvai.yish.Ma'H8085toפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440him: for hesawרָאָה֙ra.'AhH7200theoppressionלַ֣חַץLa.chatzH3906ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, because thekingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428ofSyriaאֲרָֽם׃'a.RamH758oppressedלָחַ֥ץla.ChatzH3905them.

5(And theLORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068gaveוַיִּתֵּ֨ןvai.yi.TenH5414Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙le.Yis.ra.'ElH3478asaviourמוֹשִׁ֔יעַmo.Shi.a'H3467, so that they wentoutוַיֵּ֣צְא֔וּvai.Ye.tze.'UH3318from under thehandיַד־yad-H3027of theSyriansאֲרָ֑ם'a.RamH758: and thechildrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478dweltוַיֵּשְׁב֧וּvai.ye.she.VuH3427in theirtentsבְּאָהֳלֵיהֶ֖םbe.'o.ho.lei.HemH168, as in timespastכִּתְמ֥וֹל שִׁלְשֽׁוֹם׃kit.Mol shil.ShomH8032 H8543.

6Nevertheless theydepartedסָ֜רוּSa.ruH5493not from thesinsמֵחַטֹּ֧אותme.cha.TotH2403of thehouseבֵּית־beit-H1004ofJeroboamיָרָבְעָ֛םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379, who madeIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478sinהֶחֱטִ֥יאhe.che.ti'H2398, butwalkedהָלָ֑ךְha.LakhH1980in them: and thereremainedעָמְדָ֖ה'a.me.DahH5975thegroveהָאֲשֵׁרָ֔הha.'a.she.RahH842also inSamariaבְּשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃be.sho.me.RonH8111.)

7Neither did heleaveהִשְׁאִ֨ירhish.'IrH7604of thepeopleעָ֗ם'AmH5971toJehoahazלִיהוֹאָחָ֜זli.ho.'a.ChazH3059butfiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֤יםcha.mi.ShimH2572horsemenפָּֽרָשִׁים֙pa.ra.ShimH6571, andtenוַעֲשָׂ֣רָהva.'a.Sa.rahH6235chariotsרֶ֔כֶבRe.khevH7393, andtenוַעֲשֶׂ֥רֶתva.'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִ֖ים'a.la.FimH505footmenרַגְלִ֑יrag.LiH7273; for thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428ofSyriaאֲרָ֔ם'a.RamH758haddestroyedאִבְּדָם֙'i.be.DamH6them, and hadmadeוַיְשִׂמֵ֥םvay.si.MemH7760them like thedustכֶּֽעָפָ֖רke.'a.FarH6083bythreshingלָדֻֽשׁ׃la.DushH1758.
