3Andtheangerאַ֥ף'afH639ofJehovahwaskindledagainstIsraelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,andhedeliveredthemintothehandבְּיַ֣ד׀be.YadH3027ofHazaelחֲזָאֵ֣לcha.za.'ElH2371kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428ofSyria,andintothehandוּבְיַ֛דu.ve.YadH3027ofBen-hadadH1130thesonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofHazaelחֲזָאֵ֖לcha.za.'ElH2371,continually.

4AndJehoahazיְהוֹאָחָ֖זye.ho.'a.ChazH3059besoughtJehovah,andJehovahhearkened untohim;forhesawH7200theoppressionלַ֣חַץLa.chatzH3906ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,howthatthekingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428ofSyriaoppressedH3905them.

5(AndJehovahgaveH5414Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙le.Yis.ra.'ElH3478asaviour,sothattheywentH3318outfromunderthehandיַד־yad-H3027oftheSyrians;andthechildrenofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478dweltוַיֵּשְׁב֧וּvai.ye.she.VuH3427intheirtentsבְּאָהֳלֵיהֶ֖םbe.'o.ho.lei.HemH168asbeforetime.

6Neverthelessאַ֠ךְ'akhH389theydepartednotfromthesinsהֶחֱטִ֥יאhe.che.ti'H2398ofthehouseבֵּית־beit-H1004ofJeroboamיָרָבְעָ֛םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379, wherewithhemadeIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478tosinH2398,butwalkedהָלָ֑ךְha.LakhH1980therein:andthereremainedעָמְדָ֖ה'a.me.DahH5975theAsherahהָאֲשֵׁרָ֔הha.'a.she.RahH842alsoוְגַם֙ve.GamH1571inSamariaבְּשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃be.sho.me.RonH8111.)
