18who hitherto waited in theking’sהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428gateבְּשַׁ֥עַרbe.Sha.'arH8179eastwardמִזְרָ֑חָהmiz.Ra.chahH4217: they were the porters for thecampלְמַחֲנ֖וֹתle.ma.cha.NotH4264of thechildrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121ofLeviלֵוִֽי׃le.ViH3878.

23SoH5921they and theirchildrenוּבְנֵיהֶ֜םu.ve.nei.HemH1121had the oversight of thegatesהַשְּׁעָרִ֧יםha.she.'a.RimH8179of thehouseלְבֵית־le.veit-H1004of theLORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068,evenH5921thehouseלְבֵ֥ית־le.Veit-H1004of thetabernacleהָאֹ֖הֶלha.'O.helH168, by wards.

24On thefourלְאַרְבַּ֣עle.'ar.Ba'H702sidesרוּח֔וֹתru.ChotH7307were the porters, toward theeastמִזְרָ֥חmiz.RachH4217,westיָ֖מָּהYa.mahH3220,northצָפ֥וֹנָהtza.Fo.nahH6828, andsouthוָנֶֽגְבָּה׃va.Neg.bahH5045.

25And theirbrethrenוַאֲחֵיהֶ֨םva.'a.chei.HemH251, and their villages, were tocomeלָב֨וֹאla.Vo'H935ineveryH3117sevenלְשִׁבְעַ֧תle.shiv.'AtH7651daysהַיָּמִ֛יםhai.ya.MimH3117from time to time to be with them:

26for thefourאַרְבַּ֙עַת֙'ar.Ba.'atH702chief porters, who wereLevitesהַלְוִיִּ֑םhal.vi.YimH3881, were in a set office, and were over thechambersהַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹתha.le.sha.KhotH3957and over thetreasuriesהָאֹצְר֖וֹתha.'o.tze.RotH214in thehouseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004ofGodהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ha.'E.lo.HimH430.

27And they lodgedroundH5439aboutH5439thehouseבֵּית־beit-H1004ofGodהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588thechargeמִשְׁמֶ֔רֶתmish.Me.retH4931thereof wasuponH5921them, and to them pertained theopeningH4669thereofmorningוְלַבֹּ֥קֶרve.la.Bo.kerH1242bymorningלַבֹּֽקֶר׃la.Bo.kerH1242.

28And certain of them hadchargeעַל־'al-H5921of thevesselsכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627ofserviceהָעֲבוֹדָ֑הha.'a.vo.DahH5656; for by tale were theybroughtיְבִיא֔וּםye.vi.'UmH935in and by tale were theytakenH3318outH3318.

29SomeH1992of them also wereappointedמְמֻנִּים֙me.mu.NimH4487over thefurnitureהַכֵּלִ֔יםha.ke.LimH3627, and overallכָּל־kol-H3605thevesselsכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627of thesanctuaryהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944, and over thefineהַסֹּ֙לֶת֙ha.So.letH5560flourH5560, and thewineוְהַיַּ֣יִןve.hai.Ya.yinH3196, and theoilוְהַשֶּׁ֔מֶןve.ha.She.menH8081, and thefrankincenseוְהַלְּבוֹנָ֖הve.ha.le.vo.NahH3828, and thespicesוְהַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃ve.ha.be.sa.MimH1314:

32AndsomeH4480of theirbrethrenאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם'a.chei.HemH251, of thesonsבְּנֵ֧יbe.NeiH1121of theKohathitesהַקְּהָתִ֛יha.ke.ha.TiH6956, were over the shewbread, toprepareלְהָכִ֖יןle.ha.KhinH3559iteveryשַׁבַּ֥תsha.BatH7676sabbathשַׁבָּֽת׃ סsha.BatH7676.
