3And thebattleהַמִּלְחָמָה֙ha.mil.cha.MahH4421wentוַתִּכְבַּ֤דva.tikh.BadH3513soreagainstH5921Saulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586, and thearchersהַמּוֹרִ֣יםha.mo.RimH3384overtookוַיִּמְצָאֻ֖הוּvai.yim.tza.'U.huH4672him; and he was distressed byreasonH5921of thearchersהַיּוֹרִֽים׃hai.yo.RimH3384.

7And whenallכָּל־kol-H3605themenאִ֨ישׁ'ishH376ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֤לYis.ra.'ElH3478that were in thevalleyבָּעֵ֙מֶק֙ba.'E.mekH6010sawוַ֠יִּרְאוּVai.yir.'uH7200that theyfledנָ֔סוּNa.suH5127, and thatSaulשָׁא֣וּלsha.'UlH7586and hissonsוּבָנָ֑יוu.va.NavH1121weredeadמֵ֖תוּMe.tuH4191, they forsook theircitiesעָרֵיהֶם֙'a.rei.HemH5892, andfledוַיָּנֻ֔סוּvai.ya.Nu.suH5127; and thePhilistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֔יםfe.lish.TimH6430cameוַיָּבֹ֣אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935anddweltוַיֵּשְׁב֖וּvai.ye.she.VuH3427in them.

8And itcameH935topassH935on the morrow, when thePhilistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֔יםfe.lish.TimH6430cameH935tostripלְפַשֵּׁ֖טle.fa.ShetH6584theslainהַֽחֲלָלִ֑יםha.cha.la.LimH2491, that theyfoundוַֽיִּמְצְא֤וּvai.yim.tze.'UH4672Saulשָׁאוּל֙sha.'UlH7586and hissonsבָּנָ֔יוba.NavH1121fallenנֹפְלִ֖יםno.fe.LimH5307inmountבְּהַ֥רbe.HarH2022Gilboaגִּלְבֹּֽעַ׃gil.Bo.a'H1533.

9And theystrippedוַיַּ֨פְשִׁיטֻ֔הוּvai.Yaf.shi.Tu.huH6584him, andtookH5375hisheadרֹאשׁ֖וֹro.ShoH7218, and his armour, andsentוַיְשַׁלְּח֨וּvay.sha.le.ChuH7971intoH776thelandבְאֶֽרֶץ־ve.'e.retz-H776of thePhilistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֜יםfe.lish.TimH6430roundH5439aboutH5439, tocarryH5375thetidingsלְבַשֵּׂ֛רle.va.SerH1319unto theiridolsעֲצַבֵּיהֶ֖ם'a.tza.bei.HemH6091, and to thepeopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.
