2Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,The peopleעַ֖ם'amH5971which wereleftשְׂרִ֣ידֵיse.Ri.deiH8300of the swordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719foundמָצָ֥אma.Tza'H4672graceחֵן֙chenH2580in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֔רba.mid.BarH4057; evenIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478,when I wentהָל֥וֹךְha.LokhH1980to cause him to restלְהַרְגִּיע֖וֹle.har.gi.'OH7280.

3Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hath appearedנִרְאָ֣הnir.'AhH7200of oldמֵרָח֕וֹקme.ra.ChokH7350unto me, saying,Yea, I have lovedאֲהַבְתִּ֔יךְ'a.hav.TikhH157thee with an everlastingעוֹלָם֙o.LamH5769loveוְאַהֲבַ֤תve.'a.ha.VatH160:therefore with lovingkindnessחָֽסֶד׃Cha.sedH2617have I drawnמְשַׁכְתִּ֥יךְme.shakh.TikhH4900thee.

4Again I will buildאֶבְנֵךְ֙'ev.neKhH1129thee, and thou shalt be builtוְֽנִבְנֵ֔יתve.niv.NeitH1129,O virginבְּתוּלַ֖תbe.tu.LatH1330of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478:thou shalt again be adornedתַּעְדִּ֣יta'.DiH5710with thy tabretsתֻפַּ֔יִךְtu.Pa.yikhH8596,and shalt go forthוְיָצָ֖אתve.ya.TzatH3318in the dancesבִּמְח֥וֹלbim.CholH4234of them that make merryמְשַׂחֲקִֽים׃me.sa.cha.KimH7832.

5Thou shalt yet plantתִּטְּעִ֣יti.te.'IH5193vinesכְרָמִ֔יםkhe.ra.MimH3754upon the mountainsבְּהָרֵ֖יbe.ha.ReiH2022of Samariaשֹֽׁמְר֑וֹןsho.me.RonH8111:the plantersנָטְע֥וּna.te.'UH5193shall plantנֹטְעִ֖יםno.te.'ImH5193, and shall eat themas common thingsוְחִלֵּֽלוּ׃ve.chi.Le.luH2490.

6For there shall beיֶשׁ־yesh-H3426a dayי֔וֹםYomH3117, thatthe watchmenנֹצְרִ֖יםno.tze.RimH5341upon the mountבְּהַ֣רbe.HarH2022Ephraimאֶפְרָ֑יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669shall cryקָרְא֥וּka.re.'UH7121,Ariseק֚וּמוּKu.muH6965ye, and let us go upוְנַעֲלֶ֣הve.na.'a.LehH5927to Zionצִיּ֔וֹןtzi.YonH6726unto Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ פ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430.

7For thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068;Singרָנּ֤וּra.NuH7442with gladnessשִׂמְחָ֔הsim.ChahH8057for Jacobלְיַֽעֲקֹב֙le.ya.'a.KoH3290,and shoutוְצַהֲל֖וּve.tza.ha.LuH6670among the chiefבְּרֹ֣אשׁbe.RoshH7218of the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֑םha.go.YimH1471:publishהַשְׁמִ֤יעוּhash.Mi.'uH8085ye, praiseהַֽלְלוּ֙ha.LuH1984ye, and sayוְאִמְר֔וּve.'im.RuH559,O Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,saveהוֹשַׁ֤עho.Sha'H3467thy peopleעַמְּךָ֔'a.me.KhaH5971,the remnantשְׁאֵרִ֥יתshe.'e.RitH7611of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

8Behold, I will bringמֵבִ֨יאme.Vi'H935them from the northצָפ֗וֹןtza.FonH6828countryמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776,and gatherוְקִבַּצְתִּים֮ve.ki.batz.TimH6908them from the coastsמִיַּרְכְּתֵי־mi.yar.ke.tei-H3411of the earthאָרֶץ֒'a.RetzH776, andwith them the blindעִוֵּ֣ר'i.VerH5787and the lameוּפִסֵּ֔חַu.fi.Se.achH6455,the woman with childהָרָ֥הha.RahH2030and her that travaileth with childוְיֹלֶ֖דֶתve.yo.Le.detH3205togetherיַחְדָּ֑וyach.DavH3162:a greatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419companyקָהָ֥לka.HalH6951shall returnיָשׁ֥וּבוּya.Shu.vuH7725thither.

10Hearשִׁמְע֤וּshim.'UH8085the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,O ye nationsגּוֹיִ֔םgo.YimH1471,and declareוְהַגִּ֥ידוּve.ha.Gi.duH5046itin the islesבָאִיִּ֖יםva.'i.YimH339afar offמִמֶּרְחָ֑קmi.mer.ChakH4801,and sayוְאִמְר֗וּve.'im.RuH559,He that scatteredמְזָרֵ֤הme.za.RehH2219Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478will gatherיְקַבְּצֶ֔נּוּye.ka.be.Tze.nuH6908him, and keepוּשְׁמָר֖וֹu.she.ma.RoH8104him, as a shepherdכְּרֹעֶ֥הke.ro.'EhH7462dothhis flockעֶדְרֽוֹ׃ed.RoH5739.

11For Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hath redeemedפָדָ֥הfa.DahH6299Jacobיַעֲקֹ֑בya.'a.KoH3290,and ransomedוּגְאָל֕וֹu.ge.'a.LoH1350him from the handמִיַּ֖דmi.YadH3027of him that wasstrongerחָזָ֥קcha.ZakH2389than he.

12Therefore they shall comeוּבָאוּ֮u.va.'UH935and singוְרִנְּנ֣וּve.ri.ne.NuH7442in the heightבִמְרוֹם־vim.rom-H4791of Zionצִיּוֹן֒tzi.yOnH6726,and shall flow togetherוְנָהֲר֞וּve.na.ha.RuH5102to the goodnessט֣וּבtuvH2898of Yhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,for wheatדָּגָן֙da.GanH1715,and for wineתִּירֹ֣שׁti.RoshH8492,and for oilיִצְהָ֔רyitz.HarH3323,and for the youngבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of the flockצֹ֖אןtzonH6629and of the herdוּבָקָ֑רu.va.KarH1241:and their soulנַפְשָׁם֙naf.ShamH5315shall be as a wateredרָוֶ֔הra.VehH7302gardenכְּגַ֣ןke.GanH1588;and they shall not sorrowלְדַאֲבָ֖הle.da.'a.VahH1669any moreיוֹסִ֥יפוּyo.Si.fuH3254at all.

13Then shall the virginבְּתוּלָה֙be.tu.LahH1330rejoiceתִּשְׂמַ֤חtis.MachH8055in the danceבְּמָח֔וֹלbe.ma.CholH4234,both young menוּבַחֻרִ֥יםu.va.chu.RimH970and oldוּזְקֵנִ֖יםu.ze.ke.NimH2205togetherיַחְדָּ֑וyach.DavH3162:for I will turnוְהָפַכְתִּ֨יve.ha.fakh.TiH2015their mourningאֶבְלָ֤ם'ev.LamH60into joyלְשָׂשׂוֹן֙le.sa.sOnH8342,and will comfortוְנִ֣חַמְתִּ֔יםve.Ni.cham.TimH5162them, and make them rejoiceוְשִׂמַּחְתִּ֖יםve.si.mach.TimH8055from their sorrowמִיגוֹנָֽם׃mi.go.NamH3015.

14And I will satiateוְרִוֵּיתִ֛יve.ri.vei.TiH7301the soulנֶ֥פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548with fatnessדָּ֑שֶׁןDa.shenH1880,and my peopleוְעַמִּ֛יve.'a.MiH5971shall be satisfiedיִשְׂבָּ֖עוּyis.Ba.'uH7646with my goodnessטוּבִ֥יtu.ViH2898,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

15Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068;A voiceק֣וֹלKolH6963was heardנִשְׁמָע֙nish.Ma'H8085in Ramahבְּרָמָ֤הbe.ra.MahH7414,lamentationנְהִי֙ne.HiH5092, andbitterתַמְרוּרִ֔יםtam.ru.RimH8563weepingבְּכִ֣יbe.KhiH1065;Rachelרָחֵ֖לra.ChelH7354weepingמְבַכָּ֣הme.va.KahH1058for her childrenבָּנֶ֑יהָba.Nei.haH1121refusedמֵאֲנָ֛הme.'a.NahH3985to be comfortedלְהִנָּחֵ֥םle.hi.na.ChemH5162for her childrenבָּנֶ֖יהָba.Nei.haH1121, because they were not.
