2In that dayבַּיּ֖וֹםbai.YomH3117singH6031ye unto her, A vineyardכֶּ֥רֶםKe.remH3754of red wineחֶ֖מֶדChe.medH2531 H2561.

3I Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068do keepנֹֽצְרָ֔הּno.tze.RahH5341it; I will waterאַשְׁקֶ֑נָּה'ash.Ke.nahH8248it every momentלִרְגָעִ֖יםlir.ga.'ImH7281: lest anyhurtיִפְקֹ֣דyif.KodH6485it, I will keepאֶצֳּרֶֽנָּה׃'etz.tzo.Re.nahH5341it nightלַ֥יְלָהLay.lahH3915and dayוָי֖וֹםva.YomH3117.

4Furyחֵמָ֖הche.MahH2534isnot in me: who would setיִתְּנֵ֜נִיyi.te.Ne.niH5414the briersשָׁמִ֥ירsha.MirH8068andthornsשַׁ֙יִת֙sha.yitH7898against me in battleבַּמִּלְחָמָ֔הba.mil.cha.MahH4421?I would goאֶפְשְׂעָ֥ה'ef.se.'AhH6585through them, I would burnאֲצִיתֶ֥נָּה'a.tzi.Te.nahH6702them togetherיָּֽחַד׃Ya.chadH3162.

5Or let him take holdיַחֲזֵ֣קya.cha.ZekH2388of my strengthבְּמָעוּזִּ֔יbe.ma.'u.ZiH4581, thathe may makeיַעֲשֶׂ֥הya.'a.SehH6213peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965with me; andhe shall makeיַֽעֲשֶׂה־ya.'a.seh-H6213peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965with me.

6He shall cause them that comeהַבָּאִים֙ha.ba.'ImH935of Jacobיַֽעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290to take rootיַשְׁרֵ֣שׁyash.ReshH8327:Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478shall blossomיָצִ֥יץya.TzitzH6692and budוּפָרַ֖חu.fa.RachH6524,and fillוּמָלְא֥וּu.mal.'UH4390the faceפְנֵי־fe.nei-H6440of the worldתֵבֵ֖לte.VelH8398with fruitתְּנוּבָֽה׃ סte.nu.VahH8570.

7Hath he smittenמַכֵּ֖הוּma.Ke.huH5221him, as he smoteהַכְּמַכַּ֥תha.ke.ma.KatH4347those that smoteהִכָּ֑הוּhi.Ka.huH5221him? oris he slainהֲרֻגָ֖יוha.ru.GavH2026according to the slaughterכְּהֶ֥רֶגke.He.regH2027of them that are slainהֹרָֽג׃ho.RagH2026by him?

8In measureבְּסַּאסְּאָ֖הbe.sa.se.'AhH5432,when it shooteth forthבְּשַׁלְחָ֣הּbe.shal.ChahH7971,thou wilt debateתְּרִיבֶ֑נָּהte.ri.Ve.nahH7378with it: he stayethהָגָ֛הha.GahH1898his roughהַקָּשָׁ֖הha.ka.ShahH7186windבְּרוּח֥וֹbe.ru.ChoH7307in the dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117of the east windקָדִֽים׃ka.DimH6921.

9By thisבְּזֹאת֙be.zoTH2063therefore shall the iniquityעֲוֹֽן־'a.von-H5771of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290be purgedיְכֻפַּ֣רye.khu.ParH3722; and this isall the fruitפְּרִ֖יpe.RiH6529to take awayהָסִ֣רha.SirH5493his sinחַטָּאת֑וֹcha.ta.ToH2403;when he makethבְּשׂוּמ֣וֹ׀be.su.MoH7760all the stonesH68of the altarמִזְבֵּ֗חַmiz.Be.achH4196as chalkstonesגִר֙girH1615that are beaten in sunderמְנֻפָּצ֔וֹתme.nu.pa.TzotH5310,the grovesאֲשֵׁרִ֖ים'a.she.RimH842and imagesוְחַמָּנִֽים׃ve.cha.ma.NimH2553shall not stand upיָקֻ֥מוּya.Ku.muH6965.

10Yet the defencedבְּצוּרָה֙be.tzu.RahH1219cityעִ֤יר'irH5892shall bedesolateבָּדָ֔דba.DadH910, andthe habitationנָוֶ֕הna.VehH5116forsakenמְשֻׁלָּ֥חme.shu.LachH7971,and leftוְנֶעֱזָ֖בve.ne.'e.ZavH5800like a wildernessכַּמִּדְבָּ֑רka.mid.BarH4057:there shall the calfעֵ֛גֶל'E.gelH5695feedיִרְעֶ֥הyir.'EhH7462,and there shall he lie downיִרְבָּ֖ץyir.BatzH7257,and consumeוְכִלָּ֥הve.khi.LahH3615the branchesסְעִפֶֽיהָ׃se.'i.Fei.haH5585thereof.

11When the boughsקְצִירָהּ֙ke.tzi.RahH7105thereof are witheredבִּיבֹ֤שׁbi.VoshH3001,they shall be broken offתִּשָּׁבַ֔רְנָהti.sha.Var.nahH7665:the womenנָשִׁ֕יםna.ShimH802comeבָּא֖וֹתba.'otH935, andset them on fireמְאִיר֣וֹתme.'i.RotH215: for it isa peopleעַם־'am-H5971of no understandingבִּינוֹת֙bi.nOtH998:therefore he that madeעֹשֵׂ֔הוּ'o.Se.huH6213them will not have mercyיְרַחֲמֶ֣נּוּye.ra.cha.Me.nuH7355on them, and he that formedוְיֹצְר֖וֹve.yo.tze.RoH3335them will shew them no favourיְחֻנֶּֽנּוּ׃ סye.chun.Ne.nuH2603.
