7But there cameבָּ֤אba'H935a manוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֗יםha.'E.lo.HimH430to him, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,O kingהַמֶּ֕לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,let not the armyצְבָ֣אtze.Va'H6635of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478goיָבֹ֥אya.Vo'H935with thee; for Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068isnot with Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, to wit, withall the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Ephraimאֶפְרָֽיִם׃'ef.Ra.yimH669.

11And Amaziahוַאֲמַצְיָ֙הוּ֙va.'a.matz.Ya.huH558strengthenedהִתְחַזַּ֔קhit.cha.ZakH2388himself, and led forthוַיִּנְהַג֙vai.yin.HagH5090his peopleעַמּ֔וֹa.MoH5971,and wentH3212to the valleyגֵּ֣יאgei'H1516of saltהַמֶּ֑לַחha.Me.lachH4417,and smoteוַיַּ֥ךְvai.YakhH5221of the childrenבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Seirשֵׂעִ֖ירse.'IrH8165tenעֲשֶׂ֥רֶת'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִֽים׃'a.la.FimH505.

14Now it came to pass, afterאַחֲרֵ֨י'a.cha.ReiH310that Amaziahאֲמַצְיָ֙הוּ֙'a.matz.Ya.huH558was comeב֤וֹאVo'H935from the slaughterמֵֽהַכּ֣וֹתme.ha.KotH5221of the Edomitesאֲדוֹמִ֔ים'a.do.MimH130,that he broughtוַיָּבֵ֗אvai.ya.Ve'H935the godsאֱלֹהֵי֙'e.lo.HeiH430of the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Seirשֵׂעִ֔ירse.'IrH8165,and set them upוַיַּֽעֲמִידֵ֥םvai.ya.'a.mi.DemH5975to behis godsלֵאלֹהִ֑יםle.lo.HimH430,and bowed downיִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֖הyish.ta.cha.VehH7812himself beforeוְלִפְנֵיהֶ֥םve.lif.nei.HemH6440them, and burned incenseיְקַטֵּֽר׃ye.ka.TerH6999unto them.

15Wherefore the angerאַ֥ף'afH639of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068was kindledוַיִּֽחַר־vai.yi.char-H2734against Amaziahבַּאֲמַצְיָ֑הוּba.'a.matz.Ya.huH558,and he sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971unto him a prophetנָבִ֔יאna.Vi'H5030,which saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Why hast thou soughtדָרַ֙שְׁתָּ֙da.Rash.taH1875after the godsאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971,which could not deliverהִצִּ֥ילוּhi.Tzi.luH5337their own peopleעַמָּ֖ם'a.MamH5971out of thine handמִיָּדֶֽךָ׃mi.ya.De.khaH3027?
