O childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,fightתִּלָּֽחֲמ֛וּti.la.cha.MuH3898ye not against Yhwhיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵֽי־'e.lo.hei-H430of your fathersאֲבֹתֵיכֶ֖ם'a.vo.tei.KhemH1;for ye shall not prosperתַצְלִֽיחוּ׃tatz.Li.chuH6743.

13But Jeroboamוְיָֽרָבְעָ֗םve.ya.ra.ve.'AmH3379caused an ambushmentהַמַּאְרָ֔בha.ma'.RavH3993to comeלָב֖וֹאla.Vo'H935aboutהֵסֵב֙he.SevH5437behindמֵֽאַחֲרֵיהֶ֑םme.'a.cha.rei.HemH310them: so they were beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,and the ambushmentוְהַמַּאְרָ֖בve.ha.ma'.RavH3993wasbehindמֵאַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃me.'a.cha.rei.HemH310them.

14And when Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063looked backוַיִּפְנ֣וּvai.yif.NuH6437,behold, the battleהַמִּלְחָמָה֙ha.mil.cha.MahH4421wasbeforeפָּנִ֣יםpa.NimH6440and behindוְאָח֔וֹרve.'a.ChorH268:and they criedוַֽיִּצְעֲק֖וּvai.yitz.'a.KuH6817unto Yhwhלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068,and the priestsוְהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔יםve.ha.Ko.ha.NimH3548soundedמַחְצְרִ֖יםma.cha.tzo.tze.rimH2690with the trumpetsבַּחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת׃ba.cha.tzo.tze.RotH2689.

15Then the menאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063gave a shoutוַיָּרִ֖יעוּvai.ya.Ri.'uH7321:and as the menאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063shoutedבְּהָרִ֙יעַ֙be.ha.Ri.a'H7321,it came to pass, that Godוְהָאֱלֹהִ֗יםve.ha.'E.lo.HimH430smoteנָגַ֤ףna.GafH5062Jeroboamיָֽרָבְעָם֙ya.ra.ve.'AmH3379and all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440Abijahאֲבִיָּ֖ה'a.vi.YahH29and Judahוִיהוּדָֽה׃vi.hu.DahH3063.
