Jeremiah 31:15-22
15ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559: “1A voiceH6963 is heardH8085 in 2RamahH7414, LamentingH5092 and bitterH8563 weepingH1065. RachelH7354 is weepingH1065 for her childrenH1121; She 3refusesH3985 to be comfortedH5162 for her childrenH1121, BecauseH3588 4they are noH369 moreH369.” 16ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559: “5RestrainH4513 your voiceH6963 from weepingH1065 And your eyesH5869 from tearsH1832; For your 6workH6468 will be rewardedH7939,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068, “And they will 7returnH7725 from the landH776 of the enemyH340.17ThereH3426 isH3426 8hopeH8615 for your futureH319,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068, “And your childrenH1121 will returnH7725 to their own territoryH1366.18I have certainlyH8085 heardH8085 EphraimH669 9grievingH5110, ‘You have 10disciplinedH3256 me, and I was correctedH3256, Like an untrainedH3808H3925 11calfH5695; 12BringH7725 me backH7725 that I may be restoredH7725, For You are the LordH3068 my GodH430.19For afterH310 I turnedH7725 backH7725, I 13repentedH5162; And afterH310 I was instructedH3045, I 1415slappedH5606 my thighH3409; I wasH954 16ashamedH954 and alsoH1571 humiliatedH3637 BecauseH3588 I boreH5375 the shameH2781 of my youthH5271.’20Is 17EphraimH669 My dearH3357 sonH1121? Is he a delightfulH8191 childH3206? IndeedH3588, as oftenH1767 as I have spokenH1696 against him, I certainlyH2142 still rememberH2142 him; ThereforeH5921H3651 My 1819heartH4578 yearnsH1993 for him; I will certainlyH7355 20haveH7355 mercyH7355 onH7355 him,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068.
21“SetH5324 upH5324 roadmarksH6725 for yourself, PlaceH7760 guidepostsH8564 for yourself; 21DirectH7896 your 22mindH3820 to the highwayH4546, The wayH1870 by which you wentH1980. 23ReturnH7725, O virginH1330 of IsraelH3478, ReturnH7725 to theseH428 your citiesH5892.22HowH4970 longH5704H4970 will you waverH2559, You 24rebelliousH7728 daughterH1323? For the LordH3068 has createdH1254 a newH2319 thingH2319 on the earthH776: A womanH5347 will shelterH5437 a manH1397.”
