Isaiah 9:13-21
13Yet the peopleH5971 1do not turnH7725 backH7725 to Him who struckH5221 them, NorH3808 do they 2seekH1875 the LordH3068 of armiesH6635.14So the LordH3068 cutsH3772 offH3772 3headH7218 and tailH2180 from IsraelH3478, Both palmH3712 branchH3712 and bulrushH100 4in a singleH259 dayH3117.15The headH7218 is 5the elderH2205 and esteemedH6440H5375 man, And the prophetH5030 who teachesH3384 6falsehoodH8267 is the tailH2180.167For those who guideH833 thisH2088 peopleH5971 are leadingH8582 them astrayH8582; And those who are guidedH833 by them are 8confusedH1104.17ThereforeH5921H3651 the LordH136 does 9not rejoiceH8055 overH8055 their youngH970 menH970, 10NorH3808 does He haveH7355 compassionH7355 onH7355 their 11orphansH3490 or their widowsH490; For everyH3605 oneH3605 of them is 12godlessH2611 and an 13evildoerH7489, And everyH3605 14mouthH6310 is speakingH1696 foolishnessH5039. 15In spite of allH3605 thisH2088, His angerH639 does not turnH7725 awayH7725, And His handH3027 is stillH5750 stretchedH5186 outH5186.
1816For wickednessH7564 burnsH1197 like a fireH784; It consumesH398 briarsH8068 and thornsH7898; It also setsH3341 the thicketsH5442 of the forestH3293 aflameH3341 And they rollH55 upwardH55 in a columnH1348 of smokeH6227.19By the 17wrathH5678 of the LordH3068 of armiesH6635 the 18landH776 is burnedH6272, And the 19peopleH5971 are like fuelH3980 for the fireH784; NoH3808 20oneH376 sparesH2550 his brotherH251.2021They devourH1504 what is on the rightH3225 handH3225 but are still 22hungryH7456, And 23they eatH398 what is on the leftH8040 handH8040, but they areH7646 not satisfiedH7646; EachH376 of them eatsH398 the 24fleshH1320 of his own armH2220.21ManassehH4519 devours EphraimH669, and EphraimH669 ManassehH4519, 25And togetherH3164 they are againstH5921 JudahH3063. 26In spite of allH3605 thisH2088, His angerH639 does not turnH7725 awayH7725 And His handH3027 is stillH5750 stretchedH5186 outH5186.
