Isaiah 53:1-8

11WhoH4310 has believedH539 our reportH8052? And to whomH4310 has the armH2220 of the LordH3068 been revealedH1540?2For He grewH5927 upH5927 beforeH6440 Him like a 2tenderH3126 3shootH3126, And like a rootH8328 out of dryH6723 groundH776; He has 4noH3808 stately formH8389 or majestyH1926 That we would lookH7200 at Him, NorH3808 an appearanceH4758 that we would takeH2530 pleasureH2530 in Him.3He was 5despisedH959 and abandonedH2310 by menH376, A manH376 of 6great painH4341 and 7familiarH3045 with sicknessH2483; And like one from whom people hideH4564 their facesH6440, He was 8despisedH959, and we had no 9regardH2803 for Him.

4HoweverH403, it was our sicknessesH2483 that He HimselfH1931 10boreH5375, And our painsH4341 that He carriedH5445; Yet we ourselvesH587 assumedH2803 that He had been afflictedH5060, StruckH5221 downH5221 by 11GodH430, and humiliatedH6031.5But He was 12piercedH2490 for 13our offensesH6588, He was crushedH1792 for 14our wrongdoingsH5771; The 15punishmentH4148 for our 16well-beingH7965 was laid upon Him, And by 17His woundsH2250 we are healedH7495.6AllH3605 of us, like sheepH6629, have goneH8582 astrayH8582, EachH376 of us has turnedH6437 to his own wayH1870; But the LordH3068 has caused the wrongdoingH5771 of us allH3605 To 18fallH6293 on Him.

7He was oppressedH5065 and afflictedH6031, Yet He did not 19openH6605 His mouthH6310; 20Like a lambH7716 that is ledH2986 to slaughterH2874, And like a sheepH7353 that isH481 silentH481 beforeH6440 its shearersH1494, So He did not openH6605 His mouthH6310.8By oppressionH6115 and judgmentH4941 He was takenH3947 away; And as for His generationH1755, whoH4310 consideredH7878 That He was cutH1504 offH1504 from the landH776 of the 21livingH2416 22For the wrongdoingH6588 of my peopleH5971, to whom the blowH5061 was due?
