Thessalonians 1:3-8

We oughtG3784 alwaysG3842 1to giveG2168 thanksG2168 to GodG2316 for you, 2brothersG80 and sisters, as is only fittingG514, becauseG3754 your faithG4102 is increasingG5232 abundantlyG5232, and the 3loveG26 of eachG1538 and everyG3956 oneG1520 of you towardG1519 oneG240 anotherG240 growsG4121 ever greaterG4121.

AsG5620 aG5620 resultG5620, we ourselvesG846 4speakG1461 proudlyG1461 of you amongG1722 5the churchesG1577 of GodG2316 for your 6perseveranceG5281 and faithG4102 7 8in the midst of allG3956 your persecutionsG1375 and afflictionsG2347 whichG3739 you endureG430.

This is 9a 10plainG1730 indicationG1730 of God’sG2316 righteousG1342 judgmentG2920 soG1519 thatG1519 you will be 11consideredG2661 worthyG2661 of the kingdomG932 of GodG2316, for whichG3739 you indeedG2532 are sufferingG3958.

12For afterG1512 allG1512 13it is only rightG1342 14for GodG2316 to repayG467 with afflictionG2347 thoseG3588 who afflictG2346 you,

and to give reliefG425 to you who are afflictedG2346, along with us, 15 16whenG1722 the LordG2962 JesusG2424 will be revealedG602 17from heavenG3772 18with 19His mightyG1411 angelsG32

20in flamingG5395 fireG4442, dealingG1325 outG1325 retributionG1557 to thoseG3588 who 21do not knowG3609 GodG2316, and to thoseG3588 who 22do not obeyG5219 the gospelG2098 of our LordG2962 JesusG2424.
