10So the 1couriersH7323 passedH5674 from cityH5892 to cityH5892 through the countryH776 of EphraimH669 and ManassehH4519, and as farH5704 as ZebulunH2074, but 2they laughedH7832 at them withH7832 scornH7832 and mockedH3932 them. 11NeverthelessH389, 3someH4480 menH376 of AsherH836, ManassehH4519, and ZebulunH2074 humbledH3665 themselves and cameH935 to JerusalemH3389. 12The 4handH3027 of GodH430 was alsoH1571 on JudahH3063 to giveH5414 them oneH259 heartH3820 to doH6213 whatH4687 the kingH4428 and the princesH8269 commandedH4687 by the wordH1697 of the LordH3068.

13Now manyH7227 peopleH5971 were gatheredH622 at JerusalemH3389 to celebrateH6213 the FeastH2282 of UnleavenedH4682 BreadH4682 5in the secondH8145 monthH2320, a veryH3966 largeH7230 assemblyH6951. 14They gotH6965 upH6965 and removedH5493 the altarsH4196 whichH834 were in JerusalemH3389; they also 6removedH5493 allH3605 the incenseH4729 altarsH4729 and 7threwH7993 them into the brookH5158 KidronH6939. 15Then 8they slaughteredH7819 the PassoverH6453 lambs on the fourteenthH702 H6240 of the secondH8145 monthH2320. And 9the priestsH3548 and LevitesH3881 were ashamedH3637 of themselves, and consecratedH6942 themselves and broughtH935 burntH5930 offeringsH5930 to the houseH1004 of the LordH3068. 16 10They stoodH5975 at their stationsH5977 following their customH4941, according to the LawH8451 of MosesH4872 the manH376 of GodH430; the priestsH3548 sprinkledH2236 the bloodH1818 which they received from the handH3027 of the LevitesH3881. 17For there were manyH7227 in the assemblyH6951 whoH834 had not consecratedH6942 themselves; therefore, 11the LevitesH3881 were inH5921 chargeH5921 ofH5921 the slaughterH7821 of the PassoverH6453 lambs for everyoneH3605 who was uncleanH3808 H2889, in order to consecrateH6942 them to the LordH3068. 18For a multitudeH4768 of the peopleH5971, 12manyH7227 from EphraimH669 and ManassehH4519, and IssacharH3485 and ZebulunH2074, had not purifiedH2891 themselves, 13yetH3588 they ateH398 the PassoverH6453 14contraryH3808 to what was writtenH3789. For HezekiahH2396 prayedH6419 for them, sayingH559, “May the goodH2896 LordH3068 pardonH3722 19 15everyoneH3605 who preparesH3559 his heartH3824 to seekH1875 GodH430, the LordH3068 GodH430 of his fathersH1, though not according to the purificationH2893 rules of the sanctuaryH6944.”
