1 Thessalonians 4:1-7

11FinallyG3062 thenG3767, 2brothersG80 and sisters, we requestG2065 and urgeG3870 you in the LordG2962 JesusG2424, that as you receivedG3880 instruction from us as to howG4459 you oughtG1163 to 34walkG4043 and 5pleaseG700 GodG2316 (justG2531 asG2531 you actuallyG2532 do 6walkG4043), that you 7excelG4052 even moreG3123.

2For you knowG3609 whatG5101 instructionsG3852 we gaveG1325 you 8by the authority of the LordG2962 JesusG2424.

3For thisG3778 is the willG2307 of GodG2316, your sanctificationG38; that is, that you 9abstainG568 from sexualG4202 immoralityG4202;

4that 10eachG1538 of you knowG3609 howG3609 to 11possessG2932 his ownG1438 1213vesselG4632 in sanctificationG38 and 14honorG5092,

5not in 1516lustfulG1939 passionG3806, likeG2509 the GentilesG1484 who 17do not knowG3609 GodG2316;

6and that noG3361 one violateG5233 the rightsG5233 and 18takeG4122 advantageG4122 of his brotherG80 or sister 19in the matterG4229, becauseG1360 20the LordG2962 is the avengerG1558 in allG3956 theseG3778 thingsG3778, justG2531 asG2531 we alsoG2532 21toldG4275 you previouslyG4275 and solemnlyG1263 warnedG1263 you.

7For 22GodG2316 has not calledG2564 us for 2324impurityG167, but in sanctificationG38.
