So the manH376seizedוַיַּחֲזֵ֤קvai.ya.cha.ZekH2388his concubineבְּפִ֣ילַגְשׁ֔וֹbe.Fi.lag.ShoH6370and broughtוַיֹּצֵ֥אvai.yo.Tze'H3318heroutsideהַח֑וּץha.ChutzH2351to them; and theyrapedוַיֵּדְע֣וּvai.ye.de.'UH3045her and abusedוַיִּֽתְעַלְּלוּ־vai.yit.'a.le.lu-H5953her allכָּל־kol-H3605nightהַלַּ֙יְלָה֙ha.Lay.lahH3915untilעַד־'ad-H5704morningהַבֹּ֔קֶרha.Bo.kerH1242,then letH7971her goוַֽיְשַׁלְּח֖וּהָvay.sha.le.Chu.haH7971at the approachכַּעֲל֥וֹתka.'a.lotH5927of dawnהַשָּֽׁחַר׃ha.Sha.charH7837.

26As the dayH1242began to dawnלִפְנ֣וֹתlif.NotH6437 H1242,the womanהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802cameוַתָּבֹ֥אva.ta.Vo'H935and fellH5307downH5307at the doorwayפֶּ֧תַחPe.tachH6607of the man’sהָאִ֛ישׁha.'IshH376houseבֵּית־beit-H1004whereאֲשֶׁר־ שָּׁ֖ם'a.Sher- shamH834 H8033her masterאֲדוֹנֶ֥יהָ'a.do.Nei.haH113was, untilעַד־'ad-H5704fulldaylightהָאֽוֹר׃ha.'OrH216.

27When her masterאֲדֹנֶ֜יהָ'a.do.Nei.haH113gotH6965upH6965in the morningבַּבֹּ֗קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242and openedוַיִּפְתַּח֙vai.yif.TachH6605the doorsדַּלְת֣וֹתdal.TotH1817of the houseהַבַּ֔יִתha.Ba.yitH1004and wentH3318outH3318to goלָלֶ֣כֶתla.Le.khetH1980on his wayלְדַרְכּ֑וֹle.dar.KoH1870,then beholdוְהִנֵּ֧הve.hi.NehH2009,his concubineפִֽילַגְשׁ֗וֹfi.lag.ShoH6370was lyingנֹפֶ֙לֶת֙no.Fe.letH5307at the doorwayפֶּ֣תַחPe.tachH6607of the houseהַבַּ֔יִתha.Ba.yitH1004with her handsוְיָדֶ֖יהָve.ya.Dei.haH3027on the thresholdהַסַּֽף׃ha.SafH5592.
