2Thenat the endמִקְצֵ֖הmik.TzehH7097of threeשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁתshe.Lo.shetH7969daysיָמִ֑יםya.MimH3117the officersהַשֹּׁטְרִ֖יםha.sho.te.RimH7860wentוַיַּעַבְר֥וּvai.ya.'av.RuH5674through the midstבְּקֶ֥רֶבbe.Ke.revH7130of the campהַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃Ha.ma.cha.NehH4264;

3and they commandedוַיְצַוּוּ֮vay.tza.VuH6680the peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971,sayingלֵאמֹר֒le.MorH559, “When you seeכִּרְאֽוֹתְכֶ֗םkir.'ot.KhemH7200thearkאֲר֤וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantבְּרִית־be.rit-H1285of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם'e.Lo.hei.KhemH430with the Leviticalהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881priestsוְהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ve.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548carryingנֹשְׂאִ֖יםno.se.'ImH5375it, then you shall setתִּסְעוּ֙tis.'UH5265outH5265from your placeמִמְּק֣וֹמְכֶ֔םmi.me.Kom.KhemH4725and goוַהֲלַכְתֶּ֖םva.ha.lakh.TemH1980afterאַחֲרָֽיו׃'a.cha.RavH310it.

5Then Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֛עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091saidוַיֹּ֧אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971, “Consecrateהִתְקַדָּ֑שׁוּhit.ka.Da.shuH6942yourselves, for tomorrowמָחָ֗רma.CharH4279the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068will doיַעֲשֶׂ֧הya.'a.SehH6213miraclesנִפְלָאֽוֹת׃nif.la.'otH6381amongבְּקִרְבְּכֶ֖םbe.kir.be.KhemH7130you.”

6And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ye.ho.Shu.a'H3091spokeוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֣יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “TakeH5375upH5375the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantהַבְּרִ֔יתha.be.RitH1285and crossH5674overH5674aheadלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440of the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971.”So they tookH5375upH5375the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantהַבְּרִ֔יתha.be.RitH1285and wentוַיֵּלְכ֖וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980aheadלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440of the peopleהָעָֽם׃ סha.'AmH5971.

7Now the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091, “Thisהַזֶּ֗הha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117I will beginאָחֵל֙'a.ChelH2490toexaltגַּדֶּלְךָ֔ga.del.KhaH1431you in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֖יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of allכָּל־kol-H3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,soאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834thatכַּאֲשֶׁ֥רka.'a.SherH834they will knowיֵֽדְע֔וּןye.de.'UnH3045that justH3512asH3512I have beenH1961with Mosesמֹשֶׁ֖הmo.ShehH4872, I will be with you.

8So you shall commandתְּצַוֶּה֙te.tza.VehH6680the priestsהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔יםha.Ko.ha.NimH3548who are carryingנֹשְׂאֵ֥יno.se.'EiH5375the arkאֲרֽוֹן־'a.ron-H727of the covenantהַבְּרִ֖יתha.be.RitH1285,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, ‘When you comeכְּבֹאֲכֶ֗םke.vo.'a.KhemH935to the edgeקְצֵה֙ke.TzehH7097of the watersמֵ֣יmeiH4325of the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֔ןhai.yar.DenH3383,you shall standתַּעֲמֹֽדוּ׃ פta.'a.Mo.duH5975stillin the Jordanבַּיַּרְדֵּ֖ןbai.yar.DenH3383.’”

9Then Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, “Comeגֹּ֣שׁוּGo.shuH5066hereהֵ֔נָּהHe.nahH2008,and hearוְשִׁמְע֕וּve.shim.'UH8085the wordsדִּבְרֵ֖יdiv.ReiH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.Lo.hei.KhemH430.”

10And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “By thisH2088you will knowתֵּֽדְע֔וּןte.de.'UnH3045thatthe livingחַ֖יchaiH2416Godאֵ֥ל'elH410is amongבְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑םbe.kir.be.KhemH7130you, and that He will assuredlyH3423driveH3423outH3423from you the Canaaniteהַכְּנַעֲנִ֨יha.ke.na.'a.NiH3669,the Hittiteהַחִתִּ֜יha.chi.TiH2850,the Hiviteהַחִוִּ֗יha.chi.ViH2340,the Perizziteהַפְּרִזִּי֙ha.pe.ri.ZiH6522,the Girgashiteהַגִּרְגָּשִׁ֔יha.gir.ga.ShiH1622,the Amoriteוְהָאֱמֹרִ֖יve.ha.'e.mo.RiH567,and the Jebusiteוְהַיְבוּסִֽי׃ve.hay.vu.SiH2983.

11Beholdהִנֵּה֙hi.NehH2009,the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantהַבְּרִ֔יתha.be.RitH1285ofthe Lordאֲד֖וֹן'a.DonH136of allכָּל־kol-H3605the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776is crossingH5674overH5674aheadלִפְנֵיכֶ֖םlif.nei.KhemH6440of you into the Jordanבַּיַּרְדֵּֽן׃bai.yar.DenH3383.

12Nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258then,takeקְח֤וּke.ChuH3947for yourselves twelveשְׁנֵ֣י עָשָׂ֣רshe.Nei 'a.SarH8147 H6240menאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376from the tribesמִשִּׁבְטֵ֖יmi.shiv.TeiH7626of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,oneאֶחָ֥ד'e.ChadH259manאִישׁ־'ish-H376for eachאִישׁ־ אֶחָ֖ד'ish- 'e.ChadH376 H259tribeלַשָּֽׁבֶט׃la.Sha.vetH7626.

13And it will comeH1961aboutH1961when the solesכַּפּ֣וֹתka.PotH3709of the feetרַגְלֵ֣יrag.LeiH7272of the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֡יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548who carryנֹשְׂאֵי֩no.se.'EiH5375the arkאֲר֨וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068,the Lordאֲד֤וֹן'a.DonH136of allכָּל־kol-H3605the earthהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776,restכְּנ֣וֹחַke.No.achH5117in the watersבְּמֵ֣יbe.MeiH4325of the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֔ןhai.yar.DenH3383,the watersמֵ֤יmeiH4325of the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּן֙hai.yar.DenH3383will be cutיִכָּ֣רֵת֔וּןyi.Ka.re.TunH3772offH3772, that is,the watersהַמַּ֥יִםha.Ma.yimH4325which areflowingH3381downהַיֹּרְדִ֖יםhai.yo.re.DimH3381from aboveמִלְמָ֑עְלָהmil.Ma.'e.lahH4480 H4605; and they willstandוְיַעַמְד֖וּve.ya.'am.DuH5975in oneאֶחָֽד׃'e.ChadH259heapנֵ֥דnedH5067.”
