8Then Davidלְדָוִ֔דle.da.VidH1732becameH2734angryH2734becauseעַל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר'al 'a.SherH5921 H834of the Lord’sיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068outburstפָּרַ֧ץ פֶּ֖רֶץpa.Ratz Pe.retzH6555 H6556against Uzzahבְּעֻזָּ֑הbe.'u.ZahH5798;and that placeלַמָּק֤וֹםla.ma.KomH4725has been calledוַיִּקְרָ֞אvai.yik.Ra'H7121Perez-uzzahH6560to thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

9SoDavidדָוִ֛דda.VidH1732wasH3372afraidH3372of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117;and he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Howאֵ֛יךְ'eikhH349can the arkאֲר֥וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068comeיָב֥וֹאya.Vo'H935to me?”

10And Davidדָוִ֗דda.VidH1732was unwillingוְלֹֽא־ אָבָ֣הve.lo'- 'a.VahH3808 H14to moveלְהָסִ֥ירle.ha.SirH5493the arkאֲר֥וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068into the cityעִ֣יר'irH5892of Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732with him; but Davidדָוִ֔דda.VidH1732tookH5186it asideוַיַּטֵּ֣הוּvai.ya.Te.huH5186to the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004ofObed-edomH5654,the Gittiteהַגִּתִּֽי׃ha.gi.TiH1663.

11The arkאֲר֨וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068remainedוַיֵּשֶׁב֩vai.ye.ShevH3427in the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Obed-edomH5654the Gittiteהַגִּתִּ֖יha.gi.TiH1663for threeשְׁלֹשָׁ֣הshe.lo.ShahH7969monthsחֳדָשִׁ֑יםcho.da.ShimH2320,and the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068blessedוַיְבָ֧רֶךְvay.Va.rekhH1288Obed-edomH5654and allכָּל־kol-H3605his householdבֵּיתֽוֹ׃bei.ToH1004.

12Now it was reportedוַיֻּגַּ֗דvai.yu.GadH5046to Kingלַמֶּ֣לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִד֮da.VidH1732,sayingלֵאמֹר֒le.MorH559, “The Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068has blessedבֵּרַ֣ךְbe.RakhH1288the houseבֵּ֨יתbeitH1004of Obed-edomH5654and allכָּל־kol-H3605that belongs to him, on accountבַּעֲב֖וּרba.'a.VurH5668of the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430.”So Davidדָּוִ֗דda.VidH1732wentוַיֵּ֣לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980and broughtH5927the arkאֲר֨וֹן'a.RonH727of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֜יםha.'E.lo.HimH430upH5927from the houseמִבֵּ֨יתmi.BeitH1004of Obed-edomH5654tothe cityעִ֥יר'irH5892of Davidדָּוִ֖דda.VidH1732with joyבְּשִׂמְחָֽה׃be.sim.ChahH8057.

13And so it was, thatwhenכִּ֧יkiH3588those carryingנֹשְׂאֵ֥יno.se.'EiH5375the arkאֲרוֹן־'a.ron-H727of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068marchedצָעֲד֛וּtza.'a.DuH6805sixשִׁשָּׁ֣הshi.ShahH8337pacesצְעָדִ֑יםtze.'a.DimH6806,he sacrificedוַיִּזְבַּ֥חvai.yiz.BachH2076anoxשׁ֖וֹרShorH7794and a fattenedH4806steerH4806.

14AndDavidוְדָוִ֛דve.da.VidH1732was dancingמְכַרְכֵּ֥רme.khar.KerH3769beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068with allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605hisstrengthעֹ֖ז'ozH5797,and Davidוְדָוִ֕דve.da.VidH1732waswearingחָג֖וּרcha.GurH2296a linenבָּֽד׃BadH906ephodאֵפ֥וֹד'e.FodH646.

15So Davidוְדָוִד֙ve.da.VidH1732and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478were bringingמַעֲלִ֖יםma.'a.LimH5927upH5927the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068with joyfulH8643shoutingבִּתְרוּעָ֖הbit.ru.'AhH8643and the soundוּבְק֥וֹלu.ve.KolH6963of the trumpetשׁוֹפָֽר׃sho.FarH7782.

16Then it happenedוְהָיָה֙ve.ha.YahH1961, asthe arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068was comingבָּ֖אba'H935into the cityעִ֣יר'irH5892of Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732, thatMichalוּמִיכַ֨לu.mi.KhalH4324the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of Saulשָׁא֜וּלsha.'UlH7586lookedH8259downנִשְׁקְפָ֣ה׀nish.ke.FahH8259throughבְּעַ֣דbe.'AdH1157the windowהַחַלּ֗וֹןha.cha.LonH2474and sawוַתֵּ֨רֶאva.Te.re'H7200Kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732leapingמְפַזֵּ֤זme.fa.ZezH6339and dancingוּמְכַרְכֵּר֙u.me.khar.KerH3769beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;and she wasH959contemptuousH959of him in her heartבְּלִבָּֽהּ׃be.li.BahH3820.

17Now they broughtH935inH935the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068and setוַיַּצִּ֤גוּvai.ya.Tzi.guH3322itin its placeבִּמְקוֹמ֔וֹbim.ko.MoH4725insideבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the tentהָאֹ֔הֶלha.'O.helH168whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732had pitchedנָטָה־na.tah-H5186for it; andDavidדָּוִ֥דda.VidH1732offeredוַיַּ֨עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927burntעֹל֛וֹתo.LotH5930offeringsH5930and peaceוּשְׁלָמִֽים׃u.she.la.MimH8002offeringsH8002beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.
