11A womanγυνὴgunēG1135must quietlyἡσυχίᾳhēsuchiaG2271receiveG3129instructionG3129with entireπάσῃpasēG3956submissivenessὑποταγῇ·hupotagēaG5292.

12But I do not allowἐπιτρέπωepitrepōG2010a womanγυναικὶgunaikiG1135to teachδιδάσκεινdidaskeinG1321orοὐδὲoudeG3761to exerciseG831authorityG831overG831a manἀνδρὸςandrosG435,but to remainG1510quietἡσυχίᾳ.hēsuchiaG2271.

13For it wasAdamἈδὰμAdamG76whowas firstπρῶτοςprōtosG4413createdἐπλάσθη,eplasthēG4111, andthenεἶταeitaG1534EveΕὕα.HeuaG2096.

14And it wasnot AdamἈδὰμAdamG76whowas deceivedἠπατήθη,ēpatēthēG538, butthe womanγυνὴgunēG1135wasdeceivedἐξαπατηθεῖσαexapatētheisaG1818andbecameγέγονεν·gegonenG1096a wrongdoerπαραβάσειparabaseiG3847.

15But women will bepreservedσωθήσεταιsōthēsetaiG4982throughδιὰdiaG1223childbirthτεκνογονίαςteknogoniasG5042--ifἐὰνeanG1437they continueμείνωσινmeinōsinG3306infaithπίστειpisteiG4102,loveἀγάπῃagapēG26,and sanctityἁγιασμῷhagiasmōG38,with moderationσωφροσύνης.¶sōphrosunēsG4997.
