Leviticus 17:13-15

13So when anyH376 manH376 from the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478, or from the aliensH1616 who sojournH1481 amongH8432 them, 1in huntingH6718 catchesH6679 a beastH2421 orH176 a birdH5775 whichH834 may be eatenH398, 2he shall pourH8210 out its bloodH1818 and coverH3680 it with earthH6083.

14“3For as for the 4lifeH5315 of allH3605 fleshH1320, its bloodH1818 is identified with its 5lifeH5315. Therefore I saidH559 to the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478, ‘You are not to eatH398 the bloodH1818 of anyH3605 fleshH1320, for the 6lifeH5315 of allH3605 fleshH1320 is its bloodH1818; whoeverH3605 eatsH398 it shall be cutH3772 offH3772.’ 157When anyH3605 personH5315 eatsH398 an animal whichH5038 diesH5038 or is tornH2966 by beasts, whether he is a nativeH249 or an alienH1616, he shall washH3526 his clothesH899 and batheH7364 in waterH4325, and remainH2930 uncleanH2930 untilH5704 eveningH6153; then he will becomeH2891 cleanH2891.
