Jeremiah 2:31-37

31O generationH1755, heedH7200 the wordH1697 of the LordH3068. Have I beenH1961 a wildernessH4057 to IsraelH3478, OrH518 a 1landH776 of thickH3991 darknessH3991? WhyH4069 do My peopleH5971 sayH559, ‘2We are free to roamH7300; We will noH3808 longerH5750 comeH935 to You’?32Can a virginH1330 forgetH7911 her ornamentsH5716, Or a brideH3618 her attireH7196? Yet My peopleH5971 have 3forgottenH7911 Me DaysH3117 withoutH369 numberH4557.33HowH4100 wellH3190 you prepareH3190 your wayH1870 To seekH1245 loveH160! ThereforeH3651 evenH1571 4the wickedH7451 womenH7451 You have taughtH3925 your waysH1870.34AlsoH1571 on your skirtsH3671 is foundH4672 The 5lifebloodH1818H5315 of the innocentH5355 poorH34; You did not findH4672 them 6breakingH4290 in. But in spiteH5921 of allH3605 theseH428 thingsH428,35Yet you saidH559, ‘I am innocentH5352; SurelyH389 His angerH639 is turnedH7725 awayH7725 from me.’ BeholdH2009, I will 7enterH8199 into judgmentH8199 with you BecauseH5921 you 8sayH559, ‘I have not sinnedH2398.’36WhyH4100 do you 9goH235 around soH3966 muchH3966 ChangingH8132 your wayH1870? AlsoH1571, 10you will be putH954 to shameH954 by EgyptH4714 As you were putH954 to shameH954 by 11AssyriaH804.37From thisH2088 place alsoH1571 you will goH3318 out With 12your handsH3027 on your headH7218; For the LordH3068 has rejectedH3988 13those in whomH4009 you trustH4009, And you will not prosperH6743 with them.”
