Jeremiah 2:31-37

31You generationH1755, lookH7200 to the wordH1697 of the LordH3068. Have I beenH1961 a wildernessH4057 to IsraelH3478, OrH518 a 1landH776 of thickH3991 darknessH3991? WhyH4069 do My peopleH5971 sayH559, ‘2We are free to roamH7300; We will noH3808 longerH5750 comeH935 to You’?32Can a virginH1330 forgetH7911 her jewelryH5716, Or a brideH3618 her attireH7196? Yet My peopleH5971 have 3forgottenH7911 Me For daysH3117 withoutH369 numberH4557.33HowH4100 wellH3190 you prepareH3190 your wayH1870 To seekH1245 loveH160! ThereforeH3651 evenH1571 to the wickedH7451 womenH7451 You have taughtH3925 your waysH1870.34AlsoH1571 on your skirtsH3671 is foundH4672 The 4lifebloodH1818H5315 of the innocentH5355 poorH34; You did not findH4672 them 5breakingH4290 inH4290. But inH5921 spiteH5921 ofH5921 allH3605 theseH428 thingsH428,35You saidH559, ‘I amH5352 innocentH5352; SurelyH389 His angerH639 is turnedH7725 awayH7725 from me.’ BeholdH2009, I will 6enterH8199 intoH8199 judgmentH8199 with you BecauseH5921 you 7sayH559, ‘I have not sinnedH2398.’36WhyH4100 do you 8goH235 around soH3966 muchH3966 ChangingH8132 your wayH1870? AlsoH1571, 9you will be putH954 toH954 shameH954 by EgyptH4714, JustH3512 asH3512 you were putH954 toH954 shameH954 by 10AssyriaH804.37From thisH2088 place asH1571 wellH1571 you will goH3318 outH3318 With 11your handsH3027 on your headH7218; For the LordH3068 has rejectedH3988 12those in whomH4009 you trustH4009, And you will not prosperH6743 with them.”
