1 Thessalonians 2:15-20

15 1who bothG2532 killedG615 the LordG2962 JesusG2424 and 2the prophetsG4396, and 3droveG1559 us out. 4They are not pleasingG700 to GodG2316, 5but hostileG1727 to allG3956 menG444, 16 6hinderingG2967 us from speakingG2980 to the GentilesG1484 7soG2443 that they may be savedG4982; with the result that they alwaysG3842 8fillG378 up the measureG378 of their sinsG266. But 9wrathG3709 has comeG5348 upon them 10to the utmostG5056.

17But we, brethrenG80, having been takenG642 awayG642 from you for a 11shortG2540 G5610 whileG5610--12in 13personG4383, not in 14spiritG2588--were allG4053 the moreG4053 eagerG4704 with greatG4183 desireG1939 15to seeG3708 your faceG4383. 18 16For 17we wantedG2309 to comeG2064 to you--I, PaulG3972, 18 19moreG2532 G1364 thanG2532 onceG530--and yet 20SatanG4567 21hinderedG1465 us. 19For whoG5101 is our hopeG1680 orG2228 22joyG5479 orG2228 crownG4735 of exultationG2746? Is it not evenG2532 you, in the presenceG1715 of our LordG2962 JesusG2424 at His 23 24comingG3952? 20For you are 25our gloryG1391 and joyG5479.
