1 Thessalonians 2:15-20
151who both killed the Lord Jesus and 2the prophets, and 3drove us out. 4They are not pleasing to God, 5but hostile to all men, 166hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles 7so that they may be saved; with the result that they always 8fill up the measure of their sins. But 9wrath has come upon them 10to the utmost.
17But we, brethren, having been taken away from you for a 11short while--12in 13person, not in 14spirit--were all the more eager with great desire 15to see your face. 1816For 17we wanted to come to you--I, Paul, 1819more than once--and yet 20Satan 21hindered us. 19For who is our hope or 22joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His 2324coming? 20For you are 25our glory and joy.
