17Hesentשָׁלַ֣חsha.LachH7971a manאִ֑ישׁ'IshH376beforeלִפְנֵיהֶ֣םlif.nei.HemH6440them,Josephיוֹסֵֽף׃yo.SefH3130, who wassoldנִמְכַּ֥רnim.KarH4376as a slaveלְ֝עֶ֗בֶדle.'E.vedH5650.

18They afflictedעִנּ֣וּ'i.NuH6031hisfeetרַגְל֑וֹrag.LoH7272with fettersבַכֶּ֣בֶלva.Ke.velH3525,He himselfנַפְשֽׁוֹ׃naf.ShoH5315was laidבָּ֣אָהBa.'ahH935in ironsבַּ֝רְזֶ֗לbar.ZelH1270;

19Untilעַד־'ad-H5704the timeעֵ֥ת'etH6256that hiswordדְבָר֑וֹde.va.RoH1697cameH935to passH935,The wordH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068testedצְרָפָֽתְהוּ׃tze.ra.Fa.te.huH6884him.

20Thekingמֶ֭לֶךְMe.lekhH4428sentשָׁ֣לַחSha.lachH7971and releasedוַיַּתִּירֵ֑הוּva.ya.ti.Re.huH5425him,The rulerמֹשֵׁ֥לmo.ShelH4910of peoplesעַ֝מִּ֗ים'a.MimH5971,and setוַֽיְפַתְּחֵֽהוּ׃Vay.fa.te.Che.huH6605him freeH6605.

21Hemadeשָׂמ֣וֹsa.MoH7760him lordאָד֣וֹן'a.DonH113of his houseלְבֵית֑וֹle.vei.ToH1004And rulerוּ֝מֹשֵׁ֗לu.mo.ShelH4910over allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605his possessionsקִנְיָנֽוֹ׃kin.ya.NoH7075,

24And Hecaused His peopleעַמּ֣וֹa.MoH5971to be veryמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966fruitfulוַיֶּ֣פֶרvai.Ye.ferH6509,And madeH6105them strongerH6105thanH4480their adversariesמִצָּרָֽיו׃mi.tza.RavH6862.

25Heturnedהָפַ֣ךְha.FakhH2015their heartלִ֭בָּםLi.bomH3820to hateלִשְׂנֹ֣אlis.No'H8130His peopleעַמּ֑וֹa.MoH5971, TodealH5230craftilyH5230with His servantsבַּעֲבָדָֽיו׃ba.'a.va.DavH5650.

34He spokeאָ֭מַר'A.marH559, andlocustsאַרְבֶּ֑ה'ar.BehH697cameוַיָּבֹ֣אvai.ya.Vo'H935,And youngH3218locustsוְ֝יֶ֗לֶקve.Ye.lekH3218,even withoutוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369numberמִסְפָּֽר׃mis.ParH4557,

35And ateוַיֹּ֣אכַלvai.Yo.khalH398up allכָּל־kol-H3605vegetationעֵ֣שֶׂב'E.sevH6212in their landבְּאַרְצָ֑םbe.'ar.TzamH776,And ateוַ֝יֹּ֗אכַלvai.Yo.khalH398up the fruitפְּרִ֣יpe.RiH6529of their groundאַדְמָתָֽם׃'ad.ma.TamH127.

37Then He broughtוַֽ֭יּוֹצִיאֵםVai.yo.tzi.'emH3318them out withsilverבְּכֶ֣סֶףbe.Khe.sefH3701and goldוְזָהָ֑בve.za.HavH2091,And among His tribesבִּשְׁבָטָ֣יוbish.va.TavH7626thereH369was not oneH369who stumbledכּוֹשֵֽׁל׃ko.ShelH3782.

38Egyptמִצְרַ֣יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714wasgladשָׂמַ֣חsa.MachH8055when they departedבְּצֵאתָ֑םbe.tze.TamH3318, For thedreadפַּחְדָּ֣םpach.DamH6343of them had fallenנָפַ֖לna.FalH5307upon them.

39He spreadפָּרַ֣שׂpa.RasH6566acloudעָנָ֣ן'a.NanH6051for acoveringלְמָסָ֑ךְle.ma.SakhH4539, Andfireוְ֝אֵ֗שׁve.'EshH784to illumineלְהָאִ֥ירle.ha.'IrH215by nightלָֽיְלָה׃La.ye.lahH3915.

40Theyaskedשָׁאַ֣לsha.'AlH7592,and He broughtוַיָּבֵ֣אvai.ya.Ve'H935quailשְׂלָ֑וse.LavH7958,And satisfiedיַשְׂבִּיעֵֽם׃yas.bi.'EmH7646them with thebreadוְלֶ֥חֶםve.Le.chemH3899of heavenשָׁ֝מַ֗יִםSha.Ma.yimH8064.
