41Youshall takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֨ve.la.kach.TaH3947the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֥םhal.vi.YimH3881for Me, I am the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,insteadתַּ֥חַתTa.chatH8478of allכָּל־kol-H3605the firstbornבְּכֹ֖רbe.KhorH1060among the sonsבִּבְנֵ֣יbiv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and the cattleבֶּהֱמַ֣תbe.he.MatH929of the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881insteadתַּ֣חַתTa.chatH8478of allכָּל־kol-H3605the firstbornבְּכ֔וֹרbe.KhorH1060among the cattleבְּבֶהֱמַ֖תbe.ve.he.MatH929of the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.”

42So Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872numberedוַיִּפְקֹ֣דvai.yif.KodH6485allכָּל־kol-H3605the firstbornבְּכֹ֖רbe.KhorH1060among the sonsבִּבְנֵ֥יbiv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478,justH3512as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680him;

43and allכָל־khol-H3605the firstbornבְּכ֨וֹרbe.KhorH1060malesזָכָ֜רza.KharH2145by the numberבְּמִסְפַּ֥רbe.mis.ParH4557of namesשֵׁמ֛וֹתshe.MotH8034from a monthחֹ֥דֶשׁCho.deshH2320oldמִבֶּן־mi.ben-H1121and upwardוָמַ֖עְלָהva.Ma'.lahH4605,for their numberedלִפְקֻדֵיהֶ֑םlif.ku.dei.HemH6485men were22,273שְׁנַ֤יִם וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה וְשִׁבְעִ֖ים וּמָאתָֽיִם׃ פshe.Na.yim ve.'es.Rim 'E.lef she.lo.Shah ve.shiv.'Im u.ma.Ta.yimH8147 H6242 H505 H7969 H7657 H3967.

44Then the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

45“Takeקַ֣חkachH3947the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֗םhal.vi.YimH3881insteadH8478of allכָּל־kol-H3605the firstbornבְּכוֹר֙be.khOrH1060among the sonsבִּבְנֵ֣יbiv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478and the cattleH929of the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֖םhal.vi.YimH3881.And the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֖םhal.vi.YimH3881shall be Mine; I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

46For the ransomH6299of the 273הַשְּׁלֹשָׁ֔ה וְהַשִּׁבְעִ֖ים וְהַמָּאתָ֑יִםha.she.lo.Shah ve.ha.shiv.'Im ve.ha.ma.Ta.yimH7969 H7657 H3967of the firstbornמִבְּכ֖וֹרmi.be.KhorH1060of the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478who are in excessהָעֹֽדְפִים֙ha.'o.de.FimH5736beyondעַל־'al-H5921the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881,

47you shall takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֗ve.la.kach.TaH3947fiveחֲמֵ֧שֶׁתcha.Me.shetH2568shekelsשְׁקָלִ֖יםshe.ka.LimH8255apieceחֲמֵ֛שֶׁתcha.Me.shetH2568,per headלַגֻּלְגֹּ֑לֶתla.gul.Go.letH1538;you shall takeתִּקָּ֔חti.KachH3947them interms of the shekelבְּשֶׁ֤קֶלbe.She.kelH8255of the sanctuaryהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ha.Ko.deshH6944(the shekelהַשָּֽׁקֶל׃ha.Sha.kelH8255is twentyעֶשְׂרִ֥ים'es.RimH6242gerahsגֵּרָ֖הge.RahH1626),

48and giveוְנָתַתָּ֣הve.na.ta.TahH5414the moneyהַכֶּ֔סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701,the ransomפְּדוּיֵ֕יpe.du.YeiH6302of those who are in excessהָעֹדְפִ֖יםha.'o.de.FimH5736among them, to Aaronלְאַהֲרֹ֖ןle.'a.ha.RonH175and to his sonsוּלְבָנָ֑יוu.le.va.NavH1121.”

49So Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947the ransomפְּדוּיֵ֥יpe.du.YeiH6302moneyכֶּ֣סֶףKe.sefH3701from those who were in excessהָעֹ֣דְפִ֔יםha.'O.de.FimH5736,beyondעַ֖ל'alH5921those ransomedH6299by the Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881;

50from the firstbornבְּכ֛וֹרbe.KhorH1060of the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478he tookלָקַ֣חla.KachH3947the moneyהַכָּ֑סֶףha.Ka.sefH3701in terms of the shekelבְּשֶׁ֥קֶלbe.She.kelH8255of the sanctuaryהַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ha.Ko.deshH6944,1,365חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְשִׁשִּׁ֜ים וּשְׁלֹ֥שׁ וָאֶ֖לֶףcha.mi.Shah ve.shi.Shim u.she.Losh va.'E.lefH2568 H8346 H7969 H3067 H505.

51Then Mosesמֹשֶׁ֜הmo.ShehH4872gaveוַיִּתֵּ֨ןvai.yi.TenH5414the ransomH6299moneyכֶּ֧סֶףKe.sefH3701to Aaronלְאַהֲרֹ֥ןle.'a.ha.RonH175and to his sonsוּלְבָנָ֖יוu.le.va.NavH1121, at thecommandפִּ֣יpiH6310of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,justH3512as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ פmo.ShehH4872.
