13When Athaliahעֲתַלְיָ֔ה'a.tal.YahH6271heardוַתִּשְׁמַ֣עva.tish.Ma'H8085the noiseק֥וֹלKolH6963of the guardהָֽרָצִ֖יןha.ra.TzinH7323and ofthe peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971,she cameוַתָּבֹ֥אva.ta.Vo'H935to the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971in the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

14She lookedוַתֵּ֡רֶאva.Te.re'H7200and beholdוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009,the kingהַמֶּלֶךְ֩ha.me.leKhH4428was standingעֹמֵ֨ד'o.MedH5975by the pillarהָעַמּ֜וּדha.'a.MudH5982,according to the customכַּמִּשְׁפָּ֗טka.mish.PatH4941,with the captainsוְהַשָּׂרִ֤יםve.ha.sa.RimH8269and thetrumpetersוְהַחֲצֹֽצְרוֹת֙ve.ha.cha.tzo.tze.rOtH2689besideאֶל־'el-H413the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428; andallוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the peopleעַ֤ם'amH5971of the landהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776rejoicedשָׂמֵ֔חַsa.Me.achH8056and blewוְתֹקֵ֖עַve.to.Ke.a'H8628trumpetsבַּחֲצֹֽצְר֑וֹתba.cha.tzo.tze.RotH2689.Then Athaliahעֲתַלְיָה֙'a.tal.YahH6271toreוַתִּקְרַ֤עva.tik.Ra'H7167her clothesבְּגָדֶ֔יהָbe.ga.Dei.haH899and criedוַתִּקְרָ֖אva.tik.Ra'H7121, “Treasonקֶ֥שֶׁרKe.sherH7195!Treasonקָֽשֶׁר׃ סKa.sherH7195!”

15And Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֨עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077the priestהַכֹּהֵ֜ןha.ko.HenH3548commandedוַיְצַו֩vay.TzavH6680the captainsשָׂרֵ֥יsa.ReiH8269of hundredsהַמֵּא֣וֹתha.mei.'otH3967who were appointedפְּקֻדֵ֣יpe.ku.DeiH6485over the armyהַחַ֗יִלha.Cha.yilH2428and saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to them, “Bringהוֹצִ֤יאוּho.Tzi.'uH3318her outbetweenמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH413 H4480 H1004the ranksלַשְּׂדֵרֹ֔תla.se.de.RotH7713,and whoever followsוְהַבָּ֥א אַחֲרֶ֖יהָve.ha.Ba' 'a.cha.Rei.haH935 H310her putהָמֵ֣תha.MetH4191to deathתּוּמַ֖תtu.MatH4191with the swordבֶּחָ֑רֶבbe.Cha.revH2719.”For the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548saidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559, “Let her not be putH4191to deathH4191in the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.”

16So theyseizedוַיָּשִׂ֤מוּ יָדַ֔יִםvai.ya.Si.mu ya.Da.yimH7760 H3027her, and when she arrivedוַתָּב֛וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935at the horses’הַסּוּסִ֖יםha.su.SimH5483entranceמְב֥וֹאme.Vo'H3996of the king’sהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004, she wasputוַתּוּמַ֖תva.tu.MatH4191to deathH4191thereשָֽׁם׃ סShamH8033.

17ThenJehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֜עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077madeוַיִּכְרֹ֨תvai.yikh.RotH3772a covenantהַבְּרִ֗יתha.be.RitH1285betweenH996the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068and the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428and the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971,that they would be the Lord’sלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068peopleלְעָ֖םle.'AmH5971, alsobetweenH996the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428and the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.

19He tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947the captainsשָׂרֵ֣יsa.ReiH8269of hundredsהַ֠מֵּאוֹתHa.me.'otH3967and theCaritesהַכָּרִ֨יha.ka.RiH3746and theguardsהָרָצִ֜יםha.ra.TzimH7323and allכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleעַ֣ם'amH5971of the landהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776;and they broughtH3381the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428downוַיֹּרִ֤ידוּvai.yo.Ri.duH3381from the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and cameוַיָּב֛וֹאוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935by the wayדֶּֽרֶך־de.rekh-H1870ofthe gateשַׁ֥עַרSha.'arH8179of theguardsהָרָצִ֖יםha.ra.TzimH7323to the king’sהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004.And he satוַיֵּ֖שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427on the throneכִּסֵּ֥אki.Se'H3678of the kingsהַמְּלָכִֽים׃ha.me.la.KhimH4428.
