Darby Bible
Song of Songs 2:1-7
1I am a narcissus of SharonH8289, A lilyH7799 of the valleysH6010.
2As the lilyH7799 among thornsH2336, SoH3651 is my love among the daughtersH1323.
3As the apple-tree among the treesH6086 of the woodH6086, SoH3651 is my beloved among the sonsH1121: In his shadowH6738 have I rapture and sitH3427 down; And his fruitH6529 is sweetH4966 to my taste.
4He hath broughtH935 me to the houseH1004 of wineH3196, And his banner over me is loveH160.
5SustainH5564 ye me with raisin-cakes, Refresh me with applesH8598; For I am sickH2470 of loveH160.
6His left handH3225 is under my headH7218, And his rightH3225 handH3225 doth embraceH2263 me.
7I charge you, daughtersH1323 of JerusalemH3389, By the gazellesH6643, or by the hinds of the fieldH7704, That ye stirH5782 not up, nor awakeH5782 [my] loveH160, till he please.
