Joel 1:16-20
16Is not the foodH400 cutH3772 off before our eyesH5869, joyH8057 and gladnessH8057 from the houseH1004 of our 1GodH430? 17The seeds are rotten under their clods, the granaries are laid desolateH8074, the barns are brokenH2040 downH2040; for the corn is witheredH3001. 18HowH4100 do the beasts groanH584! The herdsH1241 of cattleH929 are bewildered, for they have no pastureH4829; the flocksH6629 of sheepH6629 alsoH1571 are in suffering. 19To thee, Jehovah, do I cry; for the fireH784 hath devouredH398 the pastures of the wildernessH4057, and the flameH3852 hath burned up all the treesH6086 of the fieldH7704. 20The beasts of the fieldH7704 alsoH1571 cry unto thee; for the water-courses are driedH3001, and the fireH784 hath devouredH398 the pastures of the wildernessH4057.
