2 Chronicles 22:4-9
4And he didH6213 evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068, as the houseH1004 of AhabH256 had done, forH3588 to his destructionH4889 theyH1992 wereH1961 his counselorsH3289 afterH310 the deathH4194 of his fatherH1.
5Ahaziah alsoH1571 followedH1980 their counselH6098 and wentH1980 withH854 JoramH3088 sonH1121 of AhabH256 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 to fightH4421 againstH5921 HazaelH2371 kingH4428 of AramH758 at Ramoth-gileadH7418H1568. But the ArameansH74211 woundedH5221 JoramH3141.2 6So he returnedH7725 to JezreelH3157 to recoverH7495 fromH3588 the woundsH4347 they had inflicted on himH5221 at RamahH74143 when he foughtH3898 againstH854 HazaelH2371 kingH4428 of AramH758. Then AhaziahH58384 sonH1121 of JehoramH3088 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 went downH3381 to JezreelH3157 to visitH7200 JoramH3088 sonH1121 of AhabH256, becauseH3588 Joram had been woundedH2470.
7Ahaziah’sH274 downfallH8395 cameH1961 from GodH430 when he wentH935 to visitH413 JoramH3141. When Ahaziah arrivedH935, he went outH3318 withH5973 JoramH3088 toH413 meet JehuH3058 sonH11215 of NimshiH5250, whomH834 the LORDH3068 had anointedH4886 to destroyH3772 the houseH1004 of AhabH256.
So while JehuH3058 was executing judgmentH8199 onH5973 the houseH1004 of AhabH256, he foundH4672 the rulersH8269 of JudahH3063 and the sonsH1121 of Ahaziah’sH274 brothersH251 who were servingH8334 AhaziahH274, and he killed themH2026.
9Then Jehu looked forH1245 AhaziahH274, and Jehu’s soldiers captured himH3920 while heH1931 was hidingH2244 in SamariaH8111. So Ahaziah was broughtH935 toH413 JehuH3058 and put to deathH4191. They buried himH6912, forH3588 they saidH559, “HeH1931 is the grandsonH1121 of JehoshaphatH3092, whoH834 soughtH1875 the LORDH3068 with allH3605 his heartH3824.”
So no oneH369 was left from the houseH1004 of AhaziahH274 withH6113 the strengthH3581 to rule the kingdomH4467.
