11Just then the angelמַלְאַ֤ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068called outוַיִּקְרָ֨אvai.yik.Ra'H7121to himאֵלָ֜יו'e.LavH413fromמִן־min-H4480heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064וַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֣ם׀'av.ra.HamH85,Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֑ם'av.ra.HamH85!” “Here I amהִנֵּֽנִי׃hi.Ne.niH2009,”he repliedוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559.
12“Do notאַל־'al-H408layתִּשְׁלַ֤חtish.LachH7971a handיָֽדְךָ֙ya.de.KhaH3027onאֶל־'el-H413the boyהַנַּ֔עַר וְאַל־ha.Na.'ar ve.'al-H5288H408or doתַּ֥עַשׂTa.'asH6213anythingמְא֑וּמָּהme.'U.mahH3972to him,”saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559the angel, “forכִּ֣י׀kiH3588nowעַתָּ֣ה'a.TahH6258I knowיָדַ֗עְתִּיya.Da'.tiH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588youאַ֔תָּה'A.tahH859fearיְרֵ֤אye.Re'H3373Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430,since you have notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808withheldחָשַׂ֛כְתָּcha.Sakh.taH2820אֶת־'et-H853your onlyיְחִידְךָ֖ye.chi.de.KhaH3173sonבִּנְךָ֥bin.KhaH1121אֶת־'et-H853from meמִמֶּֽנִּי׃mi.Me.niH4480.”
13Then Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֜ם'av.ra.HamH85אֶת־'et-H853looked upוַיִּשָּׂ֨א עֵינָ֗יוvai.yi.Sa' 'ei.NavH5375H5869and sawוַיַּרְא֙vai.yaR'H7200וְהִנֵּה־ve.hi.neh-H2009behindאַחַ֕ר'a.CharH310hima ramאַ֔יִל'A.yilH352in a thicketבַּסְּבַ֖ךְba.se.VakhH5442,caughtנֶאֱחַ֥זne.'e.ChazH270by its hornsבְּקַרְנָ֑יוbe.kar.NavH7161.Soאַבְרָהָם֙'av.ra.HamH85hewentוַיֵּ֤לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980and tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947אֶת־'et-H853the ramהָאַ֔יִלha.'A.yilH352and offeredוַיַּעֲלֵ֥הוּvai.ya.'a.Le.huH5927it as a burnt offeringלְעֹלָ֖הle.'o.LahH5930in place ofתַּ֥חַתTa.chatH8478his sonבְּנֽוֹ׃be.NoH1121.
14And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֛ם'av.ra.HamH85calledוַיִּקְרָ֧א שֵֽׁם־vai.yik.Ra' shem-H7121H8034thatהַה֖וּאha.Hu'H1931placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725The LORDיְהוָ֣ה׀Yah.wehH3068Will Provideיִרְאֶ֑הyir.'EhH7200.Soאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834to this dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117it is saidיֵאָמֵ֣רye.'a.MerH559, “On the mountainבְּהַ֥רbe.HarH2022of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068it will be providedיֵרָאֶֽה׃ye.ra.'EhH7200.”
16sayingוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “By MyselfI have swornנִשְׁבַּ֖עְתִּיnish.Ba'.tiH7650,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,thatכִּ֗יKiH3588becauseיַ֚עַןYa.'anH3282אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834you have doneעָשִׂ֙יתָ֙'a.Si.taH6213אֶת־'et-H853thisהַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔הha.da.Var ha.ZehH2088H1697and have notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808withheldחָשַׂ֖כְתָּcha.Sakh.taH2820אֶת־'et-H853your onlyיְחִידֶֽךָ׃ye.chi.De.khaH3173sonבִּנְךָ֥bin.KhaH1121אֶת־'et-H853,
17כִּֽי־ki-H3588I will surely bless youH1288,and I will multiplyH7235אֶֽת־'et-H853your descendantsזַרְעֲךָ֙zar.'a.KhaH2233like the starsכְּכוֹכְבֵ֣יke.chokh.VeiH3556in the skyהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and the sandוְכַח֕וֹלve.kha.CholH2344אֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834onעַל־'al-H5921the seashoreשְׂפַ֣ת הַיָּ֑םse.Fat hai.YamH8193H3220.Your descendantsזַרְעֲךָ֔zar.'a.KhaH2233אֵ֖ת'etH853will possessוְיִרַ֣שׁve.yi.RashH3423the gatesשַׁ֥עַרSha.'arH8179of their enemiesאֹיְבָֽיו׃'o.ye.VavH341.
18And through your offspringבְזַרְעֲךָ֔ve.zar.'a.KhaH2233allכֹּ֖לkolH3605nationsגּוֹיֵ֣יgo.YeiH1471of the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776will be blessedוְהִתְבָּרֲכ֣וּve.hit.ba.ra.KhuH1288,becauseעֵ֕קֶב'E.kevH6118אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you have obeyedשָׁמַ֖עְתָּsha.Ma'.taH8085My voiceבְּקֹלִֽי׃be.ko.LiH6963.”
