1Now Elishaוֶאֱלִישָׁ֡עve.'e.li.Sha'H477had saidדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413the womanהָאִשָּׁה֩ha.'i.ShahH802whoseאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834sonבְּנָ֜הּ לֵאמֹ֗רbe.Nah le.MorH1121 H559he had restored to lifeהֶחֱיָ֨הhe.che.YahH2421אֶת־'et-H853, “Ariseק֤וּמִיKu.miH6965,youאַ֣תְּ'a.tiH859and your householdוּבֵיתֵ֔ךְu.vei.TekhH1004;goוּלְכִי֙u.le.KhiH1980and live as a foreignerוְג֖וּרִיve.Gu.riH1481whereverבַּאֲשֶׁ֣רba.'a.SherH834you canתָּג֑וּרִיta.Gu.riH1481.Forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068has decreed thatקָרָ֤אka.Ra'H7121a seven-yearשֶׁ֥בַע שָׁנִֽים׃She.va' sha.NimH7651 H8141famineלָֽרָעָ֔בla.ra.'AvH7458וְגַם־ve.gam-H1571will comeבָּ֥אba'H935toאֶל־'el-H413the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776.”

2So the womanהָֽאִשָּׁ֔הha.'i.ShahH802had proceededוַתָּ֙קָם֙va.Ta.komH6965to doוַתַּ֕עַשׂva.Ta.'asH6213as the manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וַתֵּ֤לֶךְha.'E.lo.Him va.Te.lekhH430 H1980had instructedכִּדְבַ֖רkid.VarH1697.And sheהִיא֙hi'H1931and her householdוּבֵיתָ֔הּu.vei.TahH1004lived as foreignersוַתָּ֥גָרva.Ta.gorH1481for sevenשֶׁ֥בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשָׁנִֽים׃sha.NimH8141in the landבְּאֶֽרֶץ־be.'e.retz-H776of the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖יםpe.lish.TimH6430.

3וַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961At the endמִקְצֵה֙mik.TzehH7097of sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשָׁנִ֔יםsha.NimH8141,when the womanהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802returnedוַתָּ֥שָׁבva.Ta.shovH7725from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑יםpe.lish.TimH6430,she wentוַתֵּצֵא֙va.te.Tze'H3318toאֶל־'el-H413the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428to appealלִצְעֹ֣קlitz.'OkH6817forאֶל־'el-H413her houseבֵּיתָ֖הּbei.TahH1004andוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413her landשָׂדָֽהּ׃sa.DahH7704.

4Now the kingוְהַמֶּ֗לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428had been speakingמְדַבֵּר֙me.da.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413Gehaziגֵּ֣חֲזִ֔יge.cha.ZiH1522,the servantנַ֥עַרNa.'arH5288of the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Pleaseנָּ֣אna'H4994relateסַפְּרָה־sa.pe.rah-H5608to meאֵ֥ת'etH853allכָּל־kol-H3605the great thingsהַגְּדֹל֖וֹתha.ge.do.LotH1419אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Elishaאֱלִישָֽׁע׃'e.li.Sha'H477has doneעָשָׂ֥ה'a.SahH6213.”

5Andוַ֠יְהִיVay.hiH1961Gehaziה֥וּאhu'H1931was tellingמְסַפֵּ֣רme.sa.PerH5608the kingלַמֶּלֶךְ֮la.me.leKhH4428אֵ֣ת'etH853howאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Elisha had brought the deadהַמֵּת֒ha.MetH4191back to lifeהֶחֱיָ֣הhe.che.YahH2421אֶת־'et-H853.Just thenוְהִנֵּ֨הve.hi.NehH2009the womanהָאִשָּׁ֜הha.'i.ShahH802whoseאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834sonבְּנָהּ֙be.NahH1121Elishahad revivedהֶחֱיָ֤הhe.che.YahH2421אֶת־'et-H853came to appealצֹעֶ֣קֶתtzo.'E.ketH6817toאֶל־'el-H413the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428forעַל־'al-H5921her houseבֵּיתָ֖הּbei.TahH1004andוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921her landשָׂדָ֑הּsa.DahH7704.So Gehaziגֵּֽחֲזִי֙ge.cha.ZiH1522saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “My lordאֲדֹנִ֣י'a.do.NiH113the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,thisזֹ֚אתzotH2063is the womanהָֽאִשָּׁ֔הha.'i.ShahH802,and thisוְזֶה־ve.zeh-H2088is the sonבְּנָ֖הּbe.NahH1121אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Elishaאֱלִישָֽׁע׃'e.li.Sha'H477restored to lifeהֶחֱיָ֥הhe.che.YahH2421.”

6When the kingהַמֶּ֛לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428askedוַיִּשְׁאַ֥לvai.yish.'AlH7592the womanלָאִשָּׁ֖הla.'i.ShahH802,she confirmed itוַתְּסַפֶּר־va.te.sa.per-H5608.So the kingהַמֶּלֶךְ֩ha.me.leKhH4428appointedוַיִּתֶּן־vai.yi.ten-H5414for heranאֶחָ֜ד'e.ChadH259officerסָרִ֨יסsa.RisH5631,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, “Restoreהָשֵׁ֤יבha.SheivH7725אֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834was hersוְאֵת֙ve.'EtH853,along with allכָּל־kol-H3605the proceedsתְּבוּאֹ֣תte.vu.'OtH8393of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֔הha.sa.DehH7704from the dayמִיּ֛וֹםmi.YomH3117that she leftעָזְבָ֥ה'a.ze.VahH5800אֶת־'et-H853the countryהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776untilוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704nowעָֽתָּה׃ פ'A.tahH6258.”
