12Afterward, Samuelשְׁמוּאֵ֜לshe.mu.'ElH8050tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947aאַחַ֗ת'a.ChatH259stoneאֶ֣בֶן'E.venH68and set it upוַיָּ֤שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760betweenבֵּֽין־bein-H996Mizpahהַמִּצְפָּה֙ וּבֵ֣יןha.mitz.Pah u.VeinH4709H996and Shenהַשֵּׁ֔ןha.ShenH8129.He namedוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121אֶת־'et-H853שְׁמָ֖הּshe.MahH8034it EbenezerH72,sayingוַיֹּאמַ֕רvai.yo.MarH559, “Thusהֵ֖נָּהHe.nahH2008farעַד־'ad-H5704the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068has helped usעֲזָרָ֥נוּ'a.za.Ra.nuH5826.”
13So the Philistinesהַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםha.pe.lish.TimH6430were subduedוַיִּכָּֽנְעוּ֙vai.yi.ka.ne.'UH3665,and they stoppedוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808invadingלָב֖וֹאla.Vo'H935the territoryבִּגְב֣וּלbig.VulH1366of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478יָסְפ֣וּya.se.FuH3254ע֔וֹדodH5750.And the handיַד־yad-H3027of the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068wasוַתְּהִ֤יva.te.HiH1961against the Philistinesבַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםba.pe.lish.TimH6430allכֹּ֖לkolH3605the daysיְמֵ֥יye.MeiH3117of Samuelשְׁמוּאֵֽל׃she.mu.'ElH8050.
