19The next morningבַבֹּ֗קֶרva.Bo.kerH1242they got up earlyוַיַּשְׁכִּ֣מוּvai.yash.Ki.muH7925to bow in worshipוַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ֙vai.yish.ta.cha.VuH7812beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and then they returnedוַיָּשֻׁ֛בוּ וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ אֶל־vai.ya.Shu.vu vai.ya.Vo.'u 'el-H7725H935H413homeבֵּיתָ֖םbei.TamH1004to Ramahהָרָמָ֑תָהha.ra.Ma.tahH7414.And Elkanahאֶלְקָנָה֙'el.ka.NahH511אֶת־'et-H853had relations withוַיֵּ֤דַעvai.Ye.da'H3045his wifeאִשְׁתּ֔וֹ'ish.ToH802Hannahחַנָּ֣הcha.NahH2584,and the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068remembered herוַיִּֽזְכְּרֶ֖הָvai.yiz.ke.Re.haH2142.
20Soוַיְהִי֙vay.HiH1961in the courseלִתְקֻפ֣וֹתlit.ku.FotH8622of timeהַיָּמִ֔יםhai.ya.MimH3117,Hannahחַנָּ֖הcha.NahH2584conceivedוַתַּ֥הַרva.Ta.harH2029and gave birth toוַתֵּ֣לֶדva.Te.ledH3205a sonבֵּ֑ןBenH1121.She namedוַתִּקְרָ֤אva.tik.Ra'H7121אֶת־'et-H853himשְׁמוֹ֙she.MoH8034Samuelשְׁמוּאֵ֔לshe.mu.'ElH8050, saying, “Becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588I have asked for himשְׁאִלְתִּֽיו׃she.'il.TivH7592from the LORDמֵיְהוָ֖הme.Yah.wehH3068.”
