Judges 10:7-11
7And the angerH639 of Jehovah was kindled against IsraelH3478, and he soldH4376 them into the handH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430, and into the handH3027 of the children of AmmonH5983. 8And they vexed and oppressed the children of IsraelH3478 that yearH8141: eighteen yearsH8141 oppressed they all the children of IsraelH3478 that were beyond the JordanH3383 in the landH776 of the AmoritesH567, which is in GileadH1568. 9And the children of AmmonH5983 passedH5674 over the JordanH3383 to fightH3898 alsoH1571 against JudahH3063, and against BenjaminH1144, and against the houseH1004 of EphraimH669; so that IsraelH3478 was sore distressed.
10And the children of IsraelH3478 criedH2199 unto Jehovah, sayingH559, We have sinnedH2398 against thee, even because we have forsaken our GodH430, and have servedH5647 the Baalim. 11And Jehovah saidH559 unto the children of IsraelH3478, Did not I save you from the Egyptians, and from the AmoritesH567, from the children of AmmonH5983, and from the PhilistinesH6430?
