James 4:5-12
5Or thinkG1380 ye that the scriptureG1124 speaketh in vain? Doth the spiritG4151 which he made to dwellG2730 in us longG1971 unto envyingG5355? 6But he giveth more graceG5485. Wherefore the scripture saith, GodG2316 resisteth the proud, but giveth graceG5485 to the humbleG5011. 7Be subjectG5293 thereforeG3767 unto GodG2316; but resistG436 the devilG1228, and he will fleeG5343 from you. 8DrawG1448 nigh to GodG2316, and he will drawG1448 nigh to you. CleanseG2511 your handsG5495, ye sinnersG268; and purifyG48 your heartsG2588, ye doubleminded. 9Be afflicted, and mournG3996, and weepG2799: let your laughter be turned to mourningG3997, and your joyG5479 to heaviness. 10HumbleG5013 yourselvesG4771 in the sight of the LordG2962, and he shall exaltG5312 you.
11SpeakG2635 not oneG240 against another, brethren. He that speaketh against a brotherG80, or judgeth his brotherG80, speaketh against the lawG3551, and judgeth the lawG3551: but if thou judgest the lawG3551, thou art not a doerG4163 of the lawG3551, but a judgeG2919. 12OneG1520 only isG1510 the lawgiver and judgeG2919, evenG2532 he who isG1510 ableG1410 to saveG4982 and to destroyG622: but who art thou that judgest thy neighbor?
