1 Chronicles 11:12-29
12And after him was EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of DodoH1734, the AhohiteH266, who was one of the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368. 13He wasH1961 with DavidH1732 at Pasdammim, and there the PhilistinesH6430 wereH1961 gatheredH622 together to battleH4421, where wasH1961 a plot of ground fullH4392 of barleyH8184; and the peopleH5971 fledH5127 from before the PhilistinesH6430. 14And they stoodH3320 in the midstH8432 of the plot, and defended it, and slew the PhilistinesH6430; and Jehovah savedH3467 them by a greatH1419 victoryH8668.
15And threeH7969 of the thirtyH7970 chiefH7218 men wentH3381 downH3381 to the rockH6697 to DavidH1732, into the caveH4631 of AdullamH5725; and the host of the PhilistinesH6430 were encampedH2583 in the valleyH6010 of RephaimH7497. 16And DavidH1732 was thenH227 in the stronghold, and the garrisonH5333 of the PhilistinesH6430 was thenH227 in Beth-lehem. 17And DavidH1732 longed, and saidH559, Oh that oneH834 would giveH8248 me waterH4325 to drinkH8248 of the well of Beth-lehem, which is by the gateH8179! 18And the threeH7969 brake through the host of the PhilistinesH6430, and drewH7579 waterH4325 out of the well of Beth-lehem, that was by the gateH8179, and tookH5375 it, and broughtH935 it to DavidH1732: but DavidH1732 wouldH14 not drinkH8354 thereof, but poured it out unto Jehovah, 19and saidH559, My GodH430 forbid it me, that I should do this: shall I drinkH8354 the bloodH1818 of these menH376 that have put their livesH5315 in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they broughtH935 it. Therefore he wouldH14 not drinkH8354 it. These thingsH428 did the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH376.
20And AbishaiH52, the brotherH251 of JoabH3097, he was chiefH7218 of the threeH7969; for he lifted up his spearH2595 against threeH7969 hundredH3967 and slew them, and had a nameH8034 among the threeH7969. 21Of the threeH7969, he wasH1961 moreH4480 honorable than the twoH8147, and wasH1961 madeH3513 their captain: howbeit he attained not to the first threeH7969.
22BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077, the sonH1121 of a valiant manH376 of KabzeelH6909, who had done mighty deedsH6467, he slew the twoH8147sonsH1121 ofAriel of MoabH4124: he wentH3381 downH3381 also and slew a lionH738 in the midstH8432 of a pitH953 in time of snowH7950. 23And he slewH2026 an EgyptianH4713, a manH376 of great stature, fiveH2568 cubitsH520 high; and in the Egyptian’s handH3027 was a spearH2595 like a weaver’sH707 beamH4500; and he wentH3381 downH3381 to him with a staffH7626, and plucked the spearH2595 out of the Egyptian’s handH3027, and slewH2026 him with his own spearH2595. 24These thingsH428 did BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077, and had a nameH8034 among the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368. 25Behold, he was moreH4480 honorable than the thirtyH7970, but he attained not to the first threeH7969: and DavidH1732 setH7760 him over his guard.
26Also the mightyH1368 menH1368 of the armiesH2428: AsahelH6214 the brotherH251 of JoabH3097, ElhananH445 the sonH1121 of DodoH1734 of Beth-lehem, 27Shammoth the Harorite, HelezH2503 the PeloniteH6397, 28IraH5896 the sonH1121 of IkkeshH6142 the TekoiteH8621, AbiezerH44 the AnathothiteH6069, 29SibbecaiH5444 the HushathiteH2843, Ilai the AhohiteH266,
