1For the courses of the doorkeepers: of the KorahitesH7145, MeshelemiahH4920 the sonH1121 of KoreH6981, of the sonsH1121 of AsaphH623. 2And MeshelemiahH4920 had sonsH1121: ZechariahH2148 the first-born, JediaelH3043 the secondH8145, ZebadiahH2069 the thirdH7992, Jathniel the fourthH7243, 3ElamH5867 the fifthH2549, JehohananH3076 the sixthH8345, EliehoenaiH454 the seventhH7637. 4And Obed-edomH5654 had sonsH1121: ShemaiahH8098 the first-born, JehozabadH3075 the secondH8145, JoahH3098 the thirdH7992, and Sacar the fourthH7243, and NethanelH5417 the fifthH2549, 5AmmielH5988 the sixthH8345, IssacharH3485 the seventhH7637, Peullethai the eighthH8066; for GodH430 blessedH1288 him. 6Also unto ShemaiahH8098 his sonH1121 were sonsH1121 bornH3205, that ruled over the houseH1004 of their fatherH1; for they were mightyH1368 menH1368 of valor. 7The sonsH1121 of ShemaiahH8098: Othni, and Rephael, and ObedH5744, ElzabadH443, whose brethren were valiant men, ElihuH453, and Semachiah. 8All these were of the sonsH1121 of Obed-edomH5654: they and their sonsH1121 and their brethren, able menH376 in strengthH3581 for the serviceH5656; threescore and twoH8147 of Obed-edomH5654. 9And MeshelemiahH4920 had sonsH1121 and brethren, valiant men, eighteen. 10Also HosahH2621, of the children of MerariH4847, had sonsH1121: ShimriH8113 the chiefH7218 (for though he wasH1961 not the first-born, yet his fatherH1 madeH7760 him chiefH7218), 11HilkiahH2518 the secondH8145, Tebaliah the thirdH7992, ZechariahH2148 the fourthH7243: all the sonsH1121 and brethren of HosahH2621 were thirteen.
12Of these were the courses of the doorkeepers, even of the chiefH7218 menH1397, having offices like their brethren, to minister in the houseH1004 of Jehovah. 13And they castH5307 lotsH1486, as well the smallH6996 as the greatH1419, according to their fathers’H1 housesH1004, for every gateH8179. 14And the lotH1486 eastward fellH5307 to ShelemiahH8018. Then for ZechariahH2148 his sonH1121, a discreet counsellor, they castH5307 lotsH1486; and his lotH1486 cameH3318 out northward. 15To Obed-edomH5654 southward; and to his sonsH1121 the store-house. 16To ShuppimH8206 and HosahH2621 westward, by the gateH8179 of Shallecheth, at the causeway that goeth up, watch against watch. 17Eastward were sixH8337 LevitesH3881, northward fourH702 a dayH3117, southward fourH702 a dayH3117, and for the store-house twoH8147 and twoH8147. 18For ParbarH6503 westward, fourH702 at the causeway, and twoH8147 at ParbarH6503. 19These were the courses of the doorkeepers; of the sonsH1121 of the KorahitesH7145, and of the sonsH1121 of MerariH4847.
20And of the LevitesH3881, AhijahH281 was over the treasuresH214 of the houseH1004 of GodH430, and over the treasuresH214 of the dedicated thingsH6944. 21The sonsH1121 of LadanH3936, the sonsH1121 of the Gershonites belonging to LadanH3936, the headsH7218 of the fathers’H1 houses belonging to LadanH3936 the GershoniteH1649: JehieliH3172. 22The sonsH1121 of JehieliH3172: ZethamH2241, and JoelH3100 his brotherH251, over the treasuresH214 of the houseH1004 of Jehovah. 23Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites: 24and ShebuelH7619 the sonH1121 of GershomH1647, the sonH1121 of MosesH4872, was rulerH5057 over the treasuresH214. 25And his brethren: of EliezerH461 came RehabiahH7345 his sonH1121, and JeshaiahH3470 his sonH1121, and JoramH3141 his sonH1121, and Zichri his sonH1121, and ShelomothH8013 his sonH1121. 26This ShelomothH8013 and his brethren were over all the treasuresH214 of the dedicated thingsH6944, which DavidH1732 the kingH4428, and the headsH7218 of the fathers’H1 houses, the captains over thousandsH505 and hundredsH3967, and the captains of the hostH6635, had dedicated. 27Out of the spoilH7998 won in battlesH4421 did they dedicate to repairH2388 the houseH1004 of Jehovah. 28And all that SamuelH8050 the seer, and SaulH7586 the sonH1121 of KishH7027, and AbnerH74 the sonH1121 of NerH5369, and JoabH3097 the sonH1121 of ZeruiahH6870, had dedicated, whosoever had dedicated anything, it was under the handH3027 of Shelomoth, and of his brethren.
29Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sonsH1121 were for the outward businessH4399 over IsraelH3478, for officersH7860 and judgesH8199. 30Of the Hebronites, HashabiahH2811 and his brethren, men of valor, a thousandH505 and sevenH7651 hundredH3967, had the oversightH6486 of IsraelH3478 beyond the JordanH3383 westward, for all the businessH4399 of Jehovah, and for the serviceH5656 of the kingH4428. 31Of the Hebronites was Jerijah the chiefH7218, even of the Hebronites, according to their generationsH8435 by fathers’H1 houses. In the fortieth yearH8141 of the reignH4438 of DavidH1732 they were soughtH1875 for, and there were foundH4672 among them mightyH1368 menH1368 of valor at JazerH3270 of GileadH1568. 32And his brethren, men of valor, were twoH3967 thousandH505 and sevenH7651 hundredH3967, headsH7218 of fathers’H1 houses, whom kingH4428 DavidH1732 made overseers over the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matterH1697 pertaining to GodH430, and for the affairs of the kingH4428.
