8AndHamorחֲמ֖וֹרcha.MorH2544spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696with them,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, Thesoulנַפְשׁוֹ֙naf.ShoH5315of mysonבְּנִ֗יbe.NiH1121Shechemשְׁכֶ֣םshe.KhemH7927longethחָֽשְׁקָ֤הcha.she.KahH2836for yourdaughterבְּבִתְּכֶ֔םbe.vi.te.KhemH1323: I pray yougiveתְּנ֨וּte.NuH5414her to him for awifeלְאִשָּֽׁה׃le.'i.ShahH802.

9And make yemarriagesוְהִֽתְחַתְּנ֖וּve.hit.cha.te.NuH2859with us,giveתִּתְּנוּ־ti.te.nu-H5414yourdaughtersבְּנֹֽתֵיכֶם֙be.no.tei.KhemH1323to us, andtakeתִּקְח֥וּtik.ChuH3947ourdaughtersבְּנֹתֵ֖ינוּbe.no.Tei.nuH1323to you.

10And ye shalldwellתֵּשֵׁ֑בוּte.She.vuH3427with us: and thelandוְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ve.ha.'A.retzH776shallbeתִּהְיֶ֣הtih.YehH1961beforeyouלִפְנֵיכֶ֔םlif.nei.KhemH6440;dwellשְׁבוּ֙she.VuH3427andtradeוּסְחָר֔וּהָu.se.cha.Ru.haH5503ye in it, and get youpossessionsוְהֵֽאָחֲז֖וּve.he.'a.cha.ZuH270in it.

11AndShechemשְׁכֶם֙she.KhemH7927saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to herfatherאָבִ֣יה'a.VihH1and to herbrethrenאַחֶ֔יהָ'a.Chei.haH251, Let mefindאֶמְצָא־'em.tza'-H4672favourחֵ֖ןchenH2580in youreyesבְּעֵינֵיכֶ֑םbe.'ei.nei.KhemH5869, and what ye shallsayתֹּאמְר֛וּto.me.RuH559to me I willgiveאֶתֵּֽן׃'e.TenH5414.
