24AndJacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290wasleftוַיִּוָּתֵ֥רvai.yi.va.TerH3498alone; and therewrestledוַיֵּאָבֵ֥קvai.ye.'a.VekH79amanאִישׁ֙'ishH376with him until thebreakingעֲל֥וֹתa.LotH5927of thedayהַשָּֽׁחַר׃ha.Sha.charH7837.

25And when hesawוַיַּ֗רְאvai.Yar'H7200that heprevailedיָכֹל֙ya.KholH3201not against him, hetouchedוַיִּגַּ֖עvai.yi.Ga'H5060the hollow of histhighיְרֵכ֑וֹye.re.KhoH3409; and thehollowH3709ofJacob’sH3290thighיֶ֣רֶךְYe.rekhH3409was out ofjointוַתֵּ֙קַע֙va.Te.ka'H3363, as hewrestledH79with him.

26And hesaidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Let megoשַׁלְּחֵ֔נִיsha.le.Che.niH7971, for thedayהַשָּׁ֑חַרha.Sha.charH7837breakethעָלָ֖ה'a.LahH5927. And hesaidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, I will not let theegoאֲשַֽׁלֵּחֲךָ֔'a.sha.le.cha.KhaH7971,exceptאִם־'im-H518thoublessבֵּרַכְתָּֽנִי׃be.rakh.Ta.niH1288me.

27And hesaidH559to him, What is thynameשְּׁמֶ֑ךָshe.Me.khaH8034? And hesaidH559,Jacobיַעֲקֹֽב׃ya.'a.KoH3290.

28And hesaidH559, ThynameH8034shall becalledH559no moreJacobH3290, butIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478: for as a prince hast thoupowerשָׂרִ֧יתָsa.Ri.taH8280withGodאֱלֹהִ֛ים'E.lo.HimH430and withmenאֲנָשִׁ֖ים'a.na.ShimH582, and hastprevailedוַתּוּכָֽל׃va.tu.KhalH3201.

29AndJacobH3290askedוַיִּשְׁאַ֣לvai.yish.'AlH7592him, andsaidH559,Tellהַגִּֽידָה־ha.gi.dah-H5046me, I pray thee, thynameH8034. And hesaidH559, why isitזֶּ֖הzehH2088that thou dostaskתִּשְׁאַ֣לtish.'AlH7592after mynameH8034? And heblessedוַיְבָ֥רֶךְvay.Va.rekhH1288him there.

30AndJacobH3290calledוַיִּקְרָ֧אvai.yik.Ra'H7121thenameH8034of theplaceהַמָּק֖וֹםha.ma.KomH4725Penielפְּנִיאֵ֑לpe.ni.'ElH6439: for I haveseenרָאִ֤יתִיra.'I.tiH7200Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430faceפָּנִ֣יםpa.NimH6440tofaceפָּנִ֔יםpa.NimH6440, and mylifeנַפְשִֽׁי׃naf.ShiH5315ispreservedוַתִּנָּצֵ֖לva.ti.na.TzelH5337.
