Romans 7:7-12
71WhatG5101 shall we sayG3004 thenG3767? Is the LawG3551 sinG266? 23FarG3361 fromG3361 it! On the contraryG235, 4I would not have come to knowG1097 sinG266 exceptG1508 5throughG1223 the LawG3551; for I would not have knownG3609 aboutG3609 6covetingG1939 ifG1487 the LawG3551 had not saidG3004, “7You shall not 8covetG1937.” 8But sinG266, 9takingG2983 an opportunityG874 10throughG1223 the commandmentG1785, producedG2716 in me 11covetingG1939 of everyG3956 kindG3956; for 12apartG5565 13from the LawG3551 sinG266 is deadG3498. 9I wasG2198 onceG4218 aliveG2198 apartG5565 14from the LawG3551; but when the commandmentG1785 cameG2064, sinG266 cameG326 toG326 lifeG326, and I diedG599; 10and thisG3778 commandmentG1785, which was 1516to resultG1519 in lifeG2222, provedG2147 17to resultG1519 in deathG2288 for me; 11for sinG266, 18takingG2983 an opportunityG874 19throughG1223 the commandmentG1785, 20deceivedG1818 me, and throughG1223 it, killedG615 me. 1221SoG5620 thenG5620, the LawG3551 is holyG40, and the commandmentG1785 is holyG40 and righteousG1342 and goodG18.
