Jeremiah 27:5-22

5‘1I have madeH6213 the earthH776, mankindH120, and the animalsH929 whichH834 are on the faceH6440 of the earthH776 2by My greatH1419 powerH3581 and by My outstretchedH5186 armH2220, and I will 3giveH5414 it to the one whoH834 isH3474 4pleasingH3474 in My sightH5869. 6And nowH6258 I 5have handedH5414H3027 allH3605 theseH428 landsH776 overH5414 to NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894, 6My servantH5650, and I have alsoH1571 givenH5414 him the 7animalsH2421 of the fieldH7704 to serveH5647 him. 78AllH3605 the nationsH1471 shall serveH5647 him and his sonH1121 and his grandsonH1121 9untilH5704 the timeH6256 of his own landH776 comesH935; then 10manyH7227 nationsH1471 and greatH1419 kingsH4428 will 11makeH5647 him their servantH5647.

8‘And it will be that the nationH1471 or the kingdomH4467 whichH834 12will not serveH5647 him, NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and will not putH5414 its neckH6677 under the yokeH5923 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, I will punishH6485 that nationH1471 with the 13swordH2719, with famineH7458, and with plagueH1698,’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068, ‘untilH5704 I have eliminatedH8552 14it by his handH3027. 9And as for you, 15do not listenH8085 to your prophetsH5030, your divinersH7080, your 16dreamersH2472, your soothsayersH6049, or your sorcerersH3786 whoH834 talkH559 to you, sayingH559, “You will not serveH5647 the kingH4428 of BabylonH894.” 10For they are prophesyingH5012 a 17lieH8267 to you inH4616 orderH4616 toH4616 18removeH7368 you farH7368 from your landH127; and I will driveH5080 you awayH5080 and you will perishH6. 11But the nationH1471 that will 19bringH935 its neckH6677 under the yokeH5923 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894 and serveH5647 him, I will 20letH5117 remainH5117 on its landH127,’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068, ‘and they will cultivateH5647 it and liveH3427 in it.’”’”
