Jeremiah 11:18-23

18Moreover, the LordH3068 1madeH3045 it knownH3045 to me and I knewH3045 it; ThenH227 You showedH7200 me their deedsH4611.19But I was like a gentleH441 2lambH3532 ledH2986 to the slaughterH2873; And I did not knowH3045 that they had 3devisedH2803 plotsH4284 againstH5921 me, saying, “Let’s destroyH7843 the treeH6086 with its 4fruitH3899, And 5let’s cutH3772 him offH3772 from the 6landH776 of the livingH2416, So that his 7nameH8034 will noH3808 longerH5750 be rememberedH2142.”20But, LordH3068 of armiesH6635, who 8judgesH8199 righteouslyH6664, Who 9putsH974 the 10feelingsH3629 and the heartH3820 toH974 theH974 testH974, Let me seeH7200 Your vengeanceH5360 on them, For to You I have 11committedH1556 my causeH7379.

21ThereforeH3651 thisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559 concerningH5921 the peopleH376 of 12AnathothH6068, who are 13seekingH1245 your lifeH5315, sayingH559: “14Do not prophesyH5012 in the nameH8034 of the LordH3068, so that you do not 15dieH4191 by our handH3027”; 22thereforeH3651, thisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 of armiesH6635 saysH559: “BeholdH2009, I am going to 16punishH6485 them! The 17youngH970 menH970 will dieH4191 by the swordH2719, their sonsH1121 and daughtersH1323 will dieH4191 by famineH7458; 23and a remnantH7611 18will not be left to them, becauseH3588 I will 19bringH935 disasterH7463 on the peopleH376 of AnathothH6068--20the yearH8141 of their punishmentH6486.”
