1Now the manH120 1hadH3045 relationsH3045 with his wifeH802 EveH2332, and she conceivedH2029 and gaveH3205 birthH3205 to CainH7014, and she saidH559, “I have obtainedH7069 a maleH376 child with the help of the LordH3068.” 2And againH3254, she gaveH3205 birthH3205 to his brotherH251 AbelH1893. So 8CainH7014 becameH2734 veryH3966 angryH2734 and his faceH6440 9wasH5307 gloomyH5307. 6Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to CainH7014, “10WhyH4100 areH2734 you angryH2734? And whyH4100 isH5307 your faceH6440 11gloomyH5307? 712IfH518 you doH3190 wellH3190, 13will your face not be 14cheerfulH7613? 15And ifH518 you do not doH3190 wellH3190, sinH2403 is lurkingH7257 at the doorH6607; and its desireH8669 is for you, 16but you must masterH4910 it.” 8CainH7014 17talkedH559 to his brotherH251 AbelH1893; and it happenedH1961 that when they were in the fieldH7704 CainH7014 roseH6965 upH6965 againstH413 his brotherH251 AbelH1893 and 18killedH2026 him.
