2 Chronicles 36:12-16

12He didH6213 evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LordH3068 his GodH430; 1he did not humbleH3665 himself 2beforeH4480H6440 JeremiahH3414 the prophetH5030 3who spokeH6310 for the LordH3068. 134He alsoH1571 rebelledH4775 against KingH4428 NebuchadnezzarH5019, whoH834 had made him swearH7650 allegiance by GodH430. But 5he stiffenedH7185 his neckH6203 and hardenedH553 his heartH3824 againstH4480 turningH7725 to the LordH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478. 14FurthermoreH1571, allH3605 the officialsH8269 of the priestsH3548 and the peopleH5971 wereH7235 veryH7235 unfaithfulH4604, following allH3605 the abominationsH8441 of the nationsH1471; and they defiledH2930 the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 whichH834 He had sanctifiedH6942 in JerusalemH3389.

15Yet the LordH3068, the GodH430 of their fathersH1, 6sentH7971 word to them againH7925 and againH7971 by His messengersH4397, becauseH3588 He hadH2550 compassionH2550 on His peopleH5971 and on His dwellingH4583 placeH4583; 16but they continually 7mockedH3931 the messengersH4397 of GodH430, 8despisedH959 His wordsH1697, and scoffedH8591 at His prophetsH5030, 9untilH5704 the wrathH2534 of the LordH3068 roseH5927 against His peopleH5971, untilH5704 thereH369 wasH369 noH369 remedyH4832.
