2 Chronicles 33:10-20
10So the LordH3068 spokeH1696 to ManassehH4519 and his peopleH5971, but 1they paidH7181 noH3808 attentionH7181. 112Therefore the LordH3068 broughtH935 the commandersH8269 of the armyH6635 of the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804 againstH5921 them, and they capturedH3920 ManassehH4519 with hooksH2336, 3boundH631 him with bronzeH5178 chains, and ledH1980 him to BabylonH894. 12When 4he was in distressH6887, he appeasedH2470 the LordH3068 his GodH430 and 5humbledH3665 himself greatlyH3966 beforeH4480H6440 the GodH430 of his fathersH1. 13When he prayedH6419 to Him, 6He was movedH6279 by him and heardH8085 his pleadingH8467, and broughtH7725 him backH7725 to JerusalemH3389 to his kingdomH4438. Then ManassehH4519 7knewH3045 that the LordH3068 alone is GodH430.
14Now afterH310 thisH3651 he builtH1129 the outerH2435 wallH2346 of the cityH5892 of DavidH1732 on the westH4628 sideH4628 of 8GihonH1521, in the valleyH5158, up to the entranceH935 of the 9FishH1709 GateH8179; and he encircledH5437 the 10OphelH6077 with it and madeH1361 it veryH3966 highH1361. Then he putH7760 armyH2428 commandersH8269 in allH3605 the fortifiedH1219 citiesH5892 in JudahH3063. 15He also 11removedH5493 the foreignH5236 godsH430 and the idolH5566 from the houseH1004 of the LordH3068, as well as allH3605 the altarsH4196 whichH834 he had builtH1129 on the mountainH2022 of the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 and in JerusalemH3389, and he threwH7993 them outsideH2351 the cityH5892. 16He setH3559 up the altarH4196 of the LordH3068 and sacrificedH2076 12peaceH8002 offeringsH8002 and thanksgivingH8426 offeringsH8426 on it; and he orderedH559 JudahH3063 to serveH5647 the LordH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478. 17HoweverH61, 13the peopleH5971 stillH5750 sacrificedH2076 on the highH1116 placesH1116, although onlyH7534 to the LordH3068 their GodH430.
18Now the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of ManassehH4519 and 14his prayerH8605 to his GodH430, and the wordsH1697 of 15the seersH2374 who spokeH1696 to him in the nameH8034 of the LordH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478, beholdH2009, they are amongH5921 the recordsH1697 of the kingsH4428 of 16IsraelH3478. 19His prayerH8605 also and 17how God was movedH6279 by him, and allH3605 his sinH2403, his unfaithfulnessH4604, and 18the sitesH4725 on whichH834 he builtH1129 highH1116 placesH1116 and erectedH5975 the 19AsherimH842 and the carvedH6456 imagesH6456, beforeH6440 he humbledH3665 himself, beholdH2009, they are writtenH3789 in the recordsH1697 of 20HozaiH2335. 20So ManassehH4519 21layH7901 downH7901 with his fathersH1, and they buriedH6912 him in his own houseH1004. And his sonH1121 AmonH526 becameH4427 kingH4427 inH8478 his placeH8478.
