5And the Gileaditesגִּלְעָ֛דgil.'AdH1568tookH3920controlH3920of the crossingH4569placesH4569of the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֖ןhai.yar.DenH3383opposite Ephraimלְאֶפְרָ֑יִםle.'ef.Ra.yimH669.And it happenedוְֽ֠הָיָהVe.ha.yahH1961wheneverכִּ֣יkiH3588any ofthe survivorsפְּלִיטֵ֤יpe.li.TeiH6412of Ephraimאֶפְרַ֙יִם֙'ef.Ra.yimH669saidיֹאמְר֞וּyo.me.RuH559, “Let me crossH5674overH5674,”that the menH376of Gileadגִלְעָ֛דgil.'AdH1568would sayוַיֹּ֨אמְרוּvai.Yo.me.ruH559to him, “Are you an Ephraimiteהַֽאֶפְרָתִ֥יha.'ef.ra.TiH673?”If he saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶֽר׀vai.Yo.merH559, “Noלֹֽא׃Lo'H3808,”

8Now Ibzanאִבְצָ֖ן'iv.TzanH78of BethlehemH1035judgedוַיִּשְׁפֹּ֤טvai.yish.PotH8199Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478afterאַֽחֲרָיו֙'a.cha.RavH310him.
